My local dealer has three leftover '04 XB12s in stock. I test rode one in October and it is still there. As far as I know, he hasn't sold a Buell since August. I'd like to buy one, but want to play it smart on price. Any idea of what a leftover XB12S should be selling for? |

Dave, If you still have some in lets say May, would the Dave treatment still be available? Hard Corps My local dealer has a demo black xb12s that will probably let go out the door for 10500 with race kit, 1000 mile service, streetfighter seat, frame pucks, and tail bag. |

Dave, Do you mean that freight and setup are or are not included in the $9200? TEd |

The "Dave" treatment is hard to nail down. You get great treatment during and most importantly, after the sale. You get to set up the suspension for your bike with me when you pick it up. We will also review the owner's manual, maint. schedule and warranty. You will not be lied to. The price I tell you WILL be the price you pay. You also would be dealing with a salesperson and dealership that is totally committed to Buell and Buell riders! We will still be here for you "down the road" OEM and aftermarket parts in stock(most of the time) Discount on parts, 15% for one year. Buell friendly people in all depts. A salesperson that rides Buells A dealership that sponsors Badweb There's probably more but I'm tired, just did a 12 hour day. I'm sorry, I don't have any 04 XB9Rs left, but I'd make you a sweet deal on an 05! |

Sorry. I can't sell you one anyway. I checked. You'd need to move to say Appleton, for a week or two. |

My local dealer has a couple of '05 City Xes for $8,400, not including tax. Said he got them from a HD dealership that was giving up Buells. I guess that's an OK price, but not enough to get me to give up my '03XB9s. |

Anyone looking for a new 03 XB9S or a new 04 XB12S? I just found out that I have 2 03s and 1 04 to sell. They will be good deals! Call me if you're interested. I'll have the bikes here in the next day or 2. 1-866-757-1651 ask for Dave in the sales dept. |

Depending on what the insurance comes out to on a 2004 xb12s I would like that first. If the insurance is to much I would probably get an 03 xb9s, or a 05 city x. I have rode a 04 12s on a couple different occasions and like it very much, unfortunatly they have not had a 9 in to demo ride at my local dealer. I would not be looking to buy untill May, and with how fast you sell bikes, you know? Hard Corps |

Okay...who has ridden both the XB9 and XB12? I am sure some of you out there have. Not counting performance upgrades, how much difference is there? I know this is very subjective, and the thought that you have a bigger stroke between your legs makes us think we have more...but let's hear it guys! Be honest! |

I have tested both bikes. The XB9 was stock and the XB12 had the factory race kit. For the price difference I would buy the XB12 in a heartbeat. The nine kinda felt like a toy and the 12 just wreaked of power. |

My 9sx seems just as quick (a little more up top, a little less down low) then my 2000 M2 was, if that is a helpful datapoint. |

I think it was the torque factor for me. I also own a 2002 M2 and prefer my bike to the XB line. |

Dave, Does the 03 need any rework? I thought there was a belt problem or something with them? I've been thinking of getting one for my wife. g u s |

The 9 builds up speed, enough to be fun for sure. For a fat guy like me the 12 was better, same feel as my S1 (speaking motor). Any of the tankers are far superior in the handling department to a tuber. Any tuber will spank most other motorcycle. 9 or 12, ya can't go wrong. |

Gus, The 03 doesn't need anything, it's new. 99% of belt problems are human error. Don't worry about it. |
