If the weather sucks I'll need someone to pick me up. Actually, I need someone to swing by the Gaylord and lead me to the Railhead. |

Would any "cornhuskers" be allowed? Been thinking over the weekend about going south for long weekend. I'm really itching to get out and do some riding. Not sure if I can work out the dates but if the weather's right I might be able to make it... g u s |

I'm gonna try. It's a "school night", but maybe I can come up with a creative "business reason" to be in Dallas! rt |

Patrick, Sunday looks good for me. I’ll email you with my number. Dago, I have your number and I believe you have mine. Anyone else interested? Chris, sorry to hear about your mishap. Kevin, I forgot all about the infamous stock show weather, cold and wet! Maybe we’ll get a reprieve. All, from what I can see from the map the Gaylord is now in the heart of the metroplex. Any farmland that did exist is now residential and commercial developments. I think the shortest way out of the city traffic is west of I-35W. Any suggestions? |

Add a couple more people to the list. Some of the people that work here are going to come along. I'd guess, add about 5 or 6 to the list! |

OK folks, it’s going to be 74 on Sunday. Who’s up for a ride? Patrick has obligations so Oklahoma is out unless someone else knows some goods roads. How about barbecue at Hammond’s in Glen Rose. I’ll resend my cell # by email. |

Wow this thing is getting huge. What time will everyone be arriving(i.e the hotel or railhead)?Does anyone need directions or an escort? Keep in mind traffic on 114, that 3 mile ride could easy turn into twenty minutes. BTW how did the ride go today I found myself going outside all day wishing I had an excuse to leave the base but i'm sure the SP's would have caught me. |

Might be time for a scheduled "Sickation" day from work. Bit of a hike from Austin but I don't know when such Celebs will be back in this area. Please keep us posted on the specifics as the time gets closer. |

Dave & Cameron, et al - when will you guys be free after the meeting, and/or what time would you like to plan on for dinner? Paul - It sounds as though we should plan on 15-20 for dinner. Will the Stock Show be an issue with numbers? Getting pumped about the GTG! |

Stock Show wont be a problem in Colleyville or Grapevine or anywhere east of I-35W. If anyone wants to enjoy the Stock Show culture on their bike, I suggest they go to Riscky’s Bar-B-Q at 140 E Exchange Ave. in the North Side Stockyards area. There is a bike corral directly across from Riscky’s. The Stock Show runs from January 14th through February 6th. |

What’s a Stock Show? It’s 23 days of: Showing livestock, huge event for the 4H and FFA Livestock auctions Fair grounds Trade shows Exhibitions The first major rodeo after the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. A lot of the rodeo stock still have the NFR patches on the hindquarters, sort of like bumper stickers. And yes lots of girls in tight Rockies and baggy western shirts. http://www.fwstockshowrodeo.com/index.html |

Just checked the 10-day forcast for the area (I know, it'll change, but I remain positive!). Check out ZIP code "76034" on www.weather.com , which sez a warming trend through Saturday, Jan. 22, with partly cloudy skies and lows near 42, highs near 70. PERFECT riding weather in Tejas! Hopefully they're right this time, so stay tuned! (Message edited by rpmchris on January 13, 2005) |

Well call me stupid. I thought I was flying to Dallas on the 23rd. I'm actually coming down on the 22nd so if Sunday the 23rd would work better for you locals we could change the get together to Sunday the 23rd. Whatcha think? |

Dave, Will you have your bike on Sunday? When will you be free to ride on Sunday? As far as the barbecue goes the Railhead is closed on Sundays, but we can find another spot if we want to. Did you go for a brisk ride last night? |
