ANYONE have a clear set of Crossroad installation pictures for the rerouting of wires and cables. The instruction sheet is ok, but the pictures on it look like blacked out squares. E-mailed Crossroads direct, but haven't got any response. Anyone ever do the install without dropping the forks in the triple clamps ? I have no problem with doing that, but just wondering. But clear pics would make it a little easier to understand. Thanks.

Keith and Al, Installed them on my 12S. Clutch cable is pretty tight. Did either of you try the R cable and, if so, what was result? Thanks, Dan

I did not try an R cable. The routing is a bit tight for the cable, but it didn't seem overly so.

Here's a few pictures of it routed on the shop XB9S. This was with the 7 degree down angle bars, the flat bars didn't really change anything as far as routing goes, though.

Al....could you get a pic of that air box. That first pic is a teaser for us CF fans. I like that.

Thanks Al, that looks like the way I routed the cable on mine. By the way, anything on the new fly screen. Dan

Rocco,

No matter how I have routed the cable, it always seems to be in a bit of a bind. Keeping the cable lubed definitely helps.

Matt from Trojan told me he used a cable from a "R" model and did not route it through the top triple clamp. He thought it worked better.

I believe this is the same airbox. Took this pic last year at the ATC BBQ.

I had NO problems using the existing cables from my "S" you just have to route them correctly. Its a little tight but all seemed to work out. I will get my pics posted to my website with the tail swap. http://www.tsmithbuellxb9slr.com/
