Author Message   Gearhead Posted on Wednesday, January 05, 2005 - 06:12 pm:        I was looking over the new rules at www.ccsracing.com today and noticed that the XB9's have been ruled out of the ultra-lightweight classes! Check page 19. Looks like that maximum displacement in those classes for air cooled bikes will be 900cc. Did you 9 racers do too much damage to the competition? I noticed that the antique Yamaha 400 is still eligible! The rulebook does say it's a draft copy so hopefully the Buell brigade can get back in there. As I've mentioned on other posts, I'd like to be one of them by the end of this summer so I'm concerned since I don't have the $$$ to buy a 12 to play with, darn it!!
