 Yes, it was certainly a wet ride last night. I was soaked from head to toe just riding home from the bar! Of course, the S1W isn't well known for keeping water off your back... One of those queer looking rear wheel huggers they made in '96 would have worked well. Gonna be dry today, so I'll be out and about if anyone else is off. Let's do some riding! | ||

Bummer, sucks to be you! maybe it's time you learn to do a little maintenance on your own bike. Don't think of it as such a daunting task, most repairs are really within the scope of the backyard mechanic. We can get you a cable from Sante Fe overnited... "Some" shops actually stock parts for Buells... On a happier note, I managed to squeeze in lunch today out at Tortilla flats, road was nice, traffic was non-existant. Great ride !  Afterwards with the itch to keep on riding, I went up to Bartlett lake. hmmm, bad choice. while it was still a nice ride, the road tends to get washed out in many places, and sand was in most curves. Still, all in all, it was a great day for riding... | ||

You would think that since Santa Fe is owned by the AZ Motorsports group that Tucson HD would've called them. That would be too easy of course. Supposedly it'll be done tomorrow but I ain't holdin' my breath. I don't need to learn nuthin'...just need a decent tool box! I couldn't change a battery in a flashlight with the crap I've got for tools!  | ||

Is there anybody out there? Charlie, are you in town yet? It's 2PM. We're gonna take a quick ride up to Cave Creek, and Carefree, and then down to the river, to check out the flow. (They opened up the dams, there is actually water flowing through the city of Phoenix in the Salt river today) We still have no plans for tonight. If nothing gets cemented in, we'll just hang out here at one of the local bars...      |
