I got SUCKER PUNCHED!
My wife said we didn't have to get each other anything for this blessed holiday(BAH HUMBUG)You know, money is tight and everything.....
Well folks, I have alot to learn about women!
THEY EXPECT SOMTHING.....ANYTHING!!!!
AND ITS TOO DAMN LATE NOW!!!!!
I am probably screwed until January 25th or February 14th or February 28th or what ever the next date of opportunity presents itself. |

Yup, the wife did that to me several years in a row. It always went something like this,
Me:"What would you like for Christmas dear?"
Her:"I don't think we should get each other anything. We have so much family to buy for."
Me: "Duh.....O.K."
Then come Christmas morning, BAM!, I got presents and she's got nothin. To top it off, this usually happened in the pressence of our parents.
Thanks babe! Feel like a real dolt.
So this year when it came up, I said no way, your getting gifts whether you like it or not. |

I got a seed for a Bonsai tree. I am not a christmas kind a guy and don't allow anyone to get me much. Have always wanted a bonsai though. Just waiting for the right time to properly set up the seed. |

Buellkowski->I got the singular pleasure of spending our first Christmas with our baby boy.
Definitely one of the greatest joys in life. My wife & I spent a couple hours watching old videos of our kids when they were toddlers. Laughed & cried 'til we couldn't take it anymore. Cherish the time! |

I got a pretty good haul this year but I'm kind of embarrassed at one gift - an electric nose hair trimmer.

I just finished watching a gift I got. The movie Faster! It was the first time I've seen it. It was pretty cool. |

I cleaned up this year also-
33 gallon Craftsman compressor with tools
- Skill 7 1/2 inch saw
- All the stuff I needed to put 240 in the garage (done)
-Faster dvd
-New Skin Sweatshirt with hood
- A lot of gift cards
- A lot of misc other stuff for the garage.
I feel a little guilty. A little. |
