I'm predicting a very unhappy Christmas Eve for Packers fans after the Vikings crush the Packers in tomorrows game! Cry yourselves to sleep tommorow night, Packer backers. Maybe Santa will leave a Culpepper or Moss jersey under the tree for you! Oh yeah, Merry Christmas! |

I agree John, the Packers have played like crap the last 4 weeks or so, even the monday night game which they easily won they didnt play very well, got lucky with turnovers. I would rather see the Pack win but against the Vikings at their home I dont see it happening this year. |

The Pack doesn't have the corner on sucky playing. The Vikes have been holding up their end of the suck stick lately too!!!! Hmmm, I think there's a glass of spiked nog around here somewhere... |

Oh well! The fact is that both of these teams have a good offense but absolutely no defense. Both teams have no chance in the playoffs anyway. |

The Vikings could still make the playoffs with a Rams or Panthers loss. Doesn't matter though, with their defense they aren't going anywhere in the playoffs. Yeah, I'll likely go to Homecoming next summer. With the weekend only thing I could just take that Friday off and still make it. |

The SeaHawks are going to do some serious butt kicking in the play offs! I wish they would but............. I think the Pack, Hawks, and everybody else is doomed as they go up against the Eagles (with or without T.O.) and Philly will loose to the Steelers |

should have known dyna would be nay-saying. you mean the monday night rams game??? 250 or so rushing yards is playing like crap??? dude, stick to what you know. NEVER count out the greatest QB (yes, i said GREATEST) to ever play the game. dont make me prove it, we all know its true, for now anyway. peyton manning is making a strong case for it this year, but still no ring. the vikes will always implode late in the season philly is hurting from more injuries than TO's and they are starting to doubt themselves. they might not be super bowl bound 4 game winning fg's and Longwell gets snubbed for the pro bowl??? steelers are a great team, and i would love to see a team like that win it all. they hit hard, and they play together, and thats just great football. i cant wait till tomorrow with x-mas at the MN side of the fam, should be great fun. 250 or so rushing yards is playing like crap??? I was at the game & they got some lucky breaks. Bulger had over 400 yds passing & the only reason the Pack got rushing yards was because the passing game was totally shut down. End result was a win & that was great, but it was not a dominant win like the stats may show. |

I was at that game as well. sure, the rams posted lots of passing yards, but the D kept them scoreless most of the game. the D also scored twice, thats not lucky, thats making plays. and its easier to make plays on defense when your offense cannot be stopped running the ball and putting up points. make the rams play from that far behind, and you force the turnovers. sometimes a great Offense is a good defense. i dont know where your seats were, but i was row 39 on the 20 yard line (sect 115) and from there it looked like an kicking. merry Xmas all |

Row 45 on the 40 yd line. And the 1st half was all Rams while the 2nd half is where the Pack picked it up a notch. Basically what im saying is if they play like that aginst teams in the playoffs..ie Philly, they will get spanked just like Philly beat the snot out of them a few weeks ago. Would love to see the Pack go all the way, but the realist in me doesnt see them having a lot of hope. |

I've got to agree with Dyna. The Rams are a 6-8 team and after Monday night's game against the Eagles they will likely be 6-9 (and the Vikings will be in the playoffs!). Sorry, but playing well against the Rams is not that big of a deal. Didn't the Eagles crush the Packers the next week? The Vikings also lost to the Eagles but not by much. |

No flames please, but think about this. I have the uneasy feeling that somebody put the FIX on the teams this year. I mean why do certain teams in this division spank their major competitors and then lose the next week to some rinky dink team outside the division. I swear the Fix is in to keep the excitement going to the end rather than have folks lose interest and like...follow Golf on TV. |

panthers-chargers? falcons-colts? eagles-steelers? anyone wanna get in on a playoff pool? its getting to be that time of year!!!!!!!!! if the vikes lose, does that mean they play the pack in the wildcard game at lambeau? did not mean to prove that the pack was superbowl bound, just that they looked impressive in the rams game. at the time, the rams were on a roll, since then, the rams have slipped. No flames at all from me, Bill. I've long suspected that there is a Fix in pro football. That's why I switched to baseball as my pro sport. Was there a Fix in baseball last season's for the Red Sox? It is suspicious but it's harder to achieve in pro baseball. The big difference between pro football and pro baseball is parity. There is a much larger difference in pay in baseball and that's why small market baseball teams like the Twins doing well is more of an achievment. The Vikings or the Packers should do well as anybody else because they share in the revenue more equally than their counterparts in baseball do. |

Thanks John...if real, I actually think it is the Network and perhaps the NFL doing it. Gosh, look at he Vikings and Packers this year. Good game, bad game. Same players each week, but one week they don't through interceptions and don't fumble. The next week when the game doesn't mean that much, they screw up like crazy. Yet for some reason these two teams still remain neck'n'neck to the playoffs. Sounds like some real made for TV excitement to me. You know, choreographed like the Survivor type shows. I agree Blake, thats the team im rooting for all the way this year. Hope Big Ben gets a ring. Im an AFC guy but my Dolphins have totally sucked this year & I cant root for the Pats since they are in our division plus they have won it twice in the last couple years. For the NFC the Eagles certainly deserve to get to the Superbowl this year. 3 years in a row they screwed up in the NFC championship game, I bet they at least make it this year. Thats my pick for the superbowl, Steelers vs Eagles & the Steelers win. |
