Ingemar, I'm with you on that one but have to make do with a somewhat softer version. It's still a lot of fun.....

Here is my wifes wanna-be rally car. Its not as cool as the chevy I posted above, but almost nothing is. She wants to trade it for a WRX sometime in the future. I wanted the Evolution but it was too pricey- they would not even let me test drive it!

I almost put the Aston down as my pic. Last year at the Chicago auto show the Vanquish was my favorite of all.

And if you want attention I dont think there is a car out there that would get more than this one.

Pa_XB9SX you haven't been paying attention have you? SCCA ProRally has 3 or 4 EVENTS within a days drive of you. Its not to the Euro level yet but a couple of the Euro drivers come over if time is permitting and run USspec rule cars. |

"I'll be eager to hear about the 911. Through all the ups and downs and comings and goings...that is THE car. Court" I have driven one of these bad boys and it is a heady experience. The key is whether I can buy it right, as I have to ultimately sell it right. The market for these guys is a wild and wooly ride, kind of like the car! |

Wyckedflesh - You are right. I haven't been paying attention, but I did catch something on TV the other week about SCCA events in the states. It didn't seem nearly as exciting as the European version. I checked out SCCA's site though, and I might look into catching a rally sometime. |

Jaguar XKE. I owned one for one day when I was 16. Blue convertible 6 cyl. Dad would only let me keep it if I insured it. Only car I ever sold for a profit. I can still hear the phone calls. "I need insurance for a 1965 Jag XKE, um hm, I'm 16" click! " hello? hello?" |
