It would be pretty easy to add another arm on the other side of the trani mount hole effectively making a box. I was in a hurry though and didn't do it but a half hour more could save me 5 to 10 hours later. |

The welds will probably hold, its the right to left flex of that pipe that worries me... it puts a lot of leverage on the studs. The factory mount has that great big clamp that keeps the can from swinging right to left. It more or less couples the whole exhaust to the bottom of the motor. This is all speculation on my part, I guess we will see if its a problem :0 |
