charlieboy-i forgot to mention a techlusion box. if you can,i highly recommend it!in my opinion it's the best money you can spend on the bike. you'll have to ride my bike and feel the difference. bart-i know what'cha mean,but it was fun hang'in with kobie and brian and wycked eventhow he had to go.hopefully i get to see ya next week? | ||

Wow! I've got one brother-in-law who's got a loan approval for a bike, then last night, I get a phone call that my other bro-in-law just bought a Firebolt! Wow, we're going to be a Buellin' family! I guess when Eliz and I rode out to visit we made an impression! Guess he could'nt let little sister out do him... Eliz went to the toy run today, I had to work  She was the only Buell there. I went last year and had a great time. If you get a chance go; it's for a good cause. Vegas, just read that article. WTF? What a way to go... Have a good weekend all  | ||

If it weren't for the center turn lane on our main drag, Eliz might not be with us anymore. Had one pull out right in front of her. They don't even look half the time, or is it that they just can't see anyway?  | ||

Charlie, I got rear ended in my truck on the way to work on Monday, down to the bikes now. Tuesday on the way home from work, a woman decided she wanted my lane, ended up sideswiping her and taking out my left mirror on the S1W. Two incidents in two days... We ALSO have the Geritol Kings here, and the Soccer Moms, and the dopers, you name it, we got it here in the city. It's not that they don't look, they just don't care. Their errand is more important than our silly little lives. They're bigger than us, and that seems to be all that matters in their little world. But it's all good as long as I keep rubber side down, and the road rash is minimal.  Keep riding, and keep smiling. Life is good as long as you wake up on the top side of the dirt !  | ||

My bike is at Hacienda getting the stator looked into. Sides I can't drive for a few days as it is. Ended up with a face full of battery acid powder and spent a few hours in the ER getting them flushed. Have the next two days off. Eye drops every couple of hours. | ||

Man! Thats two eye injuries to Buellers this weekend. Careful folks! (going out to the garage to try and find where the safety glasses ended up and put them out on the workbench) | ||

It wouldn't have mattered unless they were full goggles. This ended up coming up under my glasses as it is. Even the eyeshields the other guys have wouldn't have protected my eyes. My lenses are Safety rated and have qualified as safety glasses but without the shields that go around the sides. Oh and did I mention the Percocett | ||

Bart, Sorry to hear about your bad run man. I recently heard someone talking about opening up space for safety on here, oh yea, it was Ethan. Thanks man! My riding gets more and more careless until someone reminds me. In Cali I'd be on peoples tails thinking I can stop faster than them... Duh, how bout reaction time. I guess a wake up every now and then is good for the goat. Ethan, have you gotten a time frame yet? Wycked, was it at work or at home; I assume at work. At least you'll get comp while you're healing if so! | ||

No time estimate yet. Parts should all be here within a couple weeks tops, so I may have it back by the new year. It's not so bad, though. I certainly miss the XB, but I've been riding my Valk every day to work, so I've not been stuck in a cage in Phx traffic. | ||

Charlie it was at work. So yes a couple days comp and free drugs Yes I know I am making a joke out of it all, but damn once I got home and settled it hit me pretty hard what damn near happened today. Especially the fact it wasn't anyone's fault, just one of those bolt out of the blue type deals. Like I say I can't drive for the next two days so it gives you soem idea of whats up. I have to arrange a follow up and have my vision rechecked fully. It may mean a new set of glasses. Just damn glad I wasn't wearing my contacts, like I said, even the normal safety glasses everyone else wears wouldn't have done anything. Thanks for all the good words guys, its making this abit easier to deal with. | ||

It was nice to get up there and lunch was excellent . Jason and I made it back into town about 6:30 or so. Just about hit a cow on the way back... All in all, a great trip. Bartimus - What time did you go through Prescott yesterday? | ||
