The new Blade Movie is coming out Dec 8th Blade Trinity. A Buell XB12R will have a spot in the movie. The website is giving away one of the bikes in a contest, however on the site the bikes model is listed as a X612R not an XB12R. Its bad enough that no one on the street knows what our bikes are but does hollywood have to do it too? | ||

Thank Lpowel02 on that one, foregot it when i wrote out the post. Its the bike pictured a 2004 XB9R, because i know that the new ones arent even offered in blue. | ||

If they were going to fix it, I'd imagined they'd have done it days ago when someone from another site also pointed it out and noted that they had emailed them as well about it. Site, schmite. Let's just hope they don't overdub the wrong engine sounds in the movie! | ||

Since there is no XB612R and the picture is of a 9R, you can't win anything because they are not real machines. They get people to submit to win something that doesn't exist, great ploy! | ||

Even the "Blade Trinity FYE.com Sweepstakes OFFICIAL RULES" have the grand prize listed as "One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a Buell X612R Firebolt® motorcycle as seen in the movie, "Blade Trinity" HHmmmm... | ||

The only thing I can think of is, someone wrote by hand the copy for the ad and rules, and their handwriting is bad enough that their b looked like a 6. Neither of them knowing Buells or bikes in general, made a boo boo. The picture is kind of the same mistake. They simply don't know the difference. I entered also. | ||
