Ok, I've got the race system on my bike. Once I got it back the idle was fine, but as of late it likes to site somewhere between 1300 and 1500. Some days it likes to run at 1000 to 1100. Ideas? |

Try adjusting your idle speed down just a bit. If that doesn't solve the problem, I'd take it back to the shop and have them do another TPS reset. You did have the TPC reset performed for the new ECM right? |

Got it installed with the 1000 mile service. (I know I know, I coulda done it myself) So I'm assuming that it was done. |

Cataract2 - I have the same problem if I set the idle a bit over 1100. Upon backing off the idle would wander around 2000 then slowly descend to 1100 or so in maybe 5 seconds. With the idle set at 1050 to 1100, no problem. |

cat2 one cannot assume that anything "was done" do set your idle speed after fully warming engine up to operating temperature (this takes awhile, and operating temp cannot be acheived with 5 minutes of idling and a ride around the block) set hot idle speed down to about 1050 , and then check for sufficient slack/ binding in throttle cables. |

That's what I plan on doing on friday. Gotta work today. I know assuming is bad. I'm just assuming that the TPS was reset because the dealer up to now has treated me well. |

This may not have anything to do with it but a hunting idle is a symptom of a intake seal leak. |
