I know, I know...I promised pictures. I will post them tomorrow. Nevertheless, as part of my 10K change, I pulled the plugs. They look nice and white/tan. Absolutely NO fouling or soot on either jug's plug. This just goes to show that the fattening of the range under the power curve with the Techlusion's stock setting: 1) Give excellent performance results 2) Do NOT lend themselves to a readily-apparent over-rich condition as some might surmise. I'll still go and get her dyno'd to report back with A/F results, but it looks good with over 1000 miles on the clock with the Techlusion. Chris |

Chris, I know I probably saw it somewhere else here, but are you running the Techlusion with the stock or race ECM? |

I got my Techlusion box yesterday - Thanks Dave. I took a few photos of the install on my 9S. I didn't get a pic of the injector splice plugs as they now live between the frame and the injectors where you can't really see them. It was a bit tedious unplugging the stock injector plugs and plugging in the new ones because its a tight space and you can barely see what you are doing. No biggie though. My setup is a Drummer, K&N, race ECM, no airbox cover and my own velocity stack. I used the stock settings offered in the instructions and the bike started right up and ran fine. It was getting dark as I finished the install but I went out in the parking lot and did a bunch of roll on wheelies in first and the power seems at least as good as before if not better. Not a very good test really. Today we've got a monsoon in Jersey, so I guess I'll have to wait to do a better road test.

Looks good I have an r and thinking about installing it in the outer cover where one wd. put that Pegus tank protecter, so perhaps I could adjust it on the fly, Might have to put a flap on it for weather etc. shouldn`t be too hard.. Just playing with the ideal now |

my own velocity stack Show off! Too bad about the rain. Hope you get to ride it soon. The box is on my short list, my very short list. I've not heard of anyone getting bad results. The worst I've heard is about the install, but that's more about the bike being so tight to work on. |

Will your 9 actually roll on a wheelie..Mine will only bring up the front with the clutch, or if i back off the throttle and snap it back on....maybe i need to copy your set up.......would it roll on before the techclusion?................ |

Jersey, is there a reason you routed the wire bundle outside the frame arch on top, instead of through it (like the factory wire bundle)? Was it a space issue? |

Dstrat - I don't remember if I could do a roll on wheelie when my 9 was stock. It only was stock for about 90 seconds.... With the Drummer, K&N & race ECM it would do an easy roll on in first. Just run it up to 3 or 4 grand and whack it. Be ready! I've come close to looping it a few times. I rode enduros for many years and wheelieing is a required skill for getting over obstacles or through shorter mud holes. I don't think I'm using any body english, but I never really think about it anymore. Glitch - I wish I could say my velo stack did some good other than just looking pretty. |

Reep - I had it there originally, but I didn't like its proximity to the shock spring and the debris that comes off of the tire. I guess it could go either way. |

other than just looking pretty. Hey you tried, and if this is the worst that could have happened, I could live with it! |
