Hi all, I was riding home from work tonight and whilst sitting at a set of traffic lights in nuetral, the warning light went out, stayed out for 20 seconds or so and then went back on! It did the exact same thing for the rest of the journey. Do you guys know if this is anything for me to be worried about i.e. can it be solved with a well aimed quirt of WD40 or is a visit to the dealer required? Appologise if this issue has been visited before. I bow to your collective knowledge.
Cheers.

at one point I couldn't get the light to come on at all, but that was after some clutchless shifting. When I put it in neutral and killed the motor/power it worked again.

I would push down on/wiggle the neutral switch connector and make sure it is seated properly....Odie

I know sometimes, especially when moving, my neutral light does not come on even when it is in neutral. I have to "wiggle" the shift lever to get the light to come on. Ive gotten used to how it feels when it does go into neutral and it does not seem to bother me to much.

Depending upon which boots I'm wearing it's either a quick tap or I look like I'm doing the Lord of the Dance Irish jig on the pedal...

What a mess...

Oh, when mine started doing that I did, indeed, just jiggle the connector and it self healed ; )
