Dan I liked your idea about the lightning bolt, since most of the models are named after bad weather I have the same vision only with a cloud as well. So I put this together real quick. What do you think? Mike |

Thanks Nick, I want to ride Sunday, but probably will not be able to. Jason, I'm not ignoring you I just don't have an answer yet. I went to Pat Clarks BBQ/Bikini Bike Wash Saturday. Lots of sport bikes, and the food was ok. I felt a little bad for the girls as it was too cold to be running around without much clothing. http://www.buellworld.com/Vegas/PCBikiniBW11-04/index.htm |

Hey.. I saw an ad for a new club today. It's called "The Block" on 3rd street. The sign said "Park Your Hog And Bust Some Balls". I like t he slogan! The sign has a front wheel of a bike and some pool balls. |

No problem Mike. I'm pretty patient. You know, I just knew I should've gotten to bed earlier that day and gotten up to go get the bike washed. Sleep was a little more important at the time I guess. I couldn't get out of bed even though the alarm went of at 2 pm. Oh well, I'm sure there will be other opportunities. You all have a happy Thanksgiving. I'm headed out of town tomorrow morning and will be back Friday in time for work. |

If I can get the wife’s approval I’m in for the toy run. Dan, I realize I have the oldest Buell in the group and that my bike is different, but isn’t the primary adjuster bolt ¾ “ inch or something? I know the blast Primary is different shaped so I don’t have one that will fit, is the adjuster different as well? I have some parts (steel frame Buells) and access to almost any tool, or piece of equipment you might need. If there is anything I can do to help you get it fixed let me know. Mike |

I just got back from the meeting with LVHD. I don't know what to say first, but WOW! These guys are very receptive to all of our wish list ideas. The are as excited as we are to be forming a BRAG Chapter. They do want to host several major events during the year, and yes, BattleTrax and a track day at Parhump were both mentioned. Also mentioned and agreed upon were dealer discounts, sponsored ride events and a Dyno Day on a dual "drag race" dyno. I left the meeting with the feeling that we will get full support on about anything we need. I also discussed the need for a meeting facility with them. Jeff was really receptive to that and mentioned that HHD has a facility that we can use. We discussed the other logisitcal issues that the dealer has to deal with such as the formation of the actual charter, the "not for profit" business incorporation, and other legal matters that they will handle with their corporate lawyer. We will probably not have the official charter till January. There is a lot of work to do on their end. In return for their sponsorship,as we discussed before, we will be an extension of the dealership. Jeff mentioned that from time to tome they will ask us to participate in events such as Homecoming and some other HOG related events. He mentioned that we may be asked to "volunteer" at certain events and that they depend heavily on the members of the groups such as HOG and BRAG to help them at events. I am beyond pleased with the outcome of the meeting and look forward to our continued growth as a club, and as friends. VERY IMPORTANT: We do need some people to put their name in the hat as treasurer. Any takers? Happy Thanksgiving! Nick |
