It's an XB9R with a typo. I had a typo once, did nothing for performance. |

Nevermind about riding anywhere. Looks like my bike will be staying in the garage. The Map in motion looks much cooler. Here it comes... I went to SMHD and had them re-set my TPS yesterday, they also did the AFV. We'll see how she acts. There was NO ONE ELSE at the dealership with a bike for service. I woke up at 8:30, realized the roads were wet and thought now is my chance to do this with no wait and there wasn't. God bless the fairweathered biker. I dunno really. We were all so excited to have a dealership that wanted/is involved and supportive word just spread. Torqer (Pete) is the main reason we got off to such a great start. He's got the type of personality that modivates. Clown (Cameron the general manager) goes out of his way to make sure we're treated right and is always asking what he can do to make things even better. The staff there at Stone Mountain HD & Buell know us all, and are real supportive, if they don't know what you're after, they know how to figure it out straight away. All of us only had one thing in common to begin with, or so we thought. Turns out we're all the type of people we'd choose to hang out with any way. We're all great friends and help one another out, and have a great time doing it. We're a community of like minded hooligans out to have a laugh. We all live pretty close to the best Bike Night in the South East so we see each other at least once a week. So I guess the secret fomula would be... Part dealership support Part modivated core people Part love for The Ride Last but far from least Buelligans! I hope everyone here will put in their 2cents. We're a pretty tight group. StealthXB (Travis) our Director says
quote:"We've got the coolest BRAG group ever."
I think he's right.

Signguy...I bought my XB9S almost 10 months ago. I just happened to stumble in SMHD/BUELL on day while I was on the road. Pete (torqer) was the first person I talked to. He saw me drooling over the XB's. I met all of the yahoos and I would have to say that these are the most diverse group of people I have ever met as well as the coolest. I am just glad to be a part of this group and I consider them some of my best friends. We all help each other out with anything related and unrelated to Buells. It is much more than just motorcycles, but I believe that is our common thread. Love of a two wheeled sport that we choose to participate on Buells. Hope you have just as strong of group as we do. 3%ers....need I say more! |

Sbullet...or anyone else for that matter. Where can I get some of the black edging plastic to finish out my carbon fiber pieces. You know, kinda like the stuff in door jams, etc. its has a slot in it so it should just snap right over the edge. |

B_S, any auto parts store like Autozone or Napa should have what you are looking for. SignGuy, I have only had my Buell since early June and this is one of the closest knit group of friends I have met since moving to Atlanta. We all share the same passion and is shows through everything we do, We are BADWEATHER BIKERS for sure, as well as 3% ers! Follow Glitches recipe for ingredients and mix accordingly, good luck with your group. |

B_S: We have some fender lip and flare molding's that have double stick tape on it and regular pinch molding that covers an edge. It depends on how tight of A curve you are going around as to what you may need. New12R is right they sell it at Auto Zone and Pep Boys but I have some here if you want some different kinds to experiment with first. |

Torqer}: Very happy to hear from you again and to see that you are at home now. Did you talk to Brad Davis? He came by to pick up my muffler to fix it and we got to talking and come to find out he knew you ( from back in the day apparently ). when you were just A little torqer . I hope it was o.k. that I gave him your number. Anyway take good care of your self and let us know if we can help. |

Signguyxb12... I think a successful club requires both dealer support and a strong group or core members willing to make the club a success by any means necessary. The club has to prove to the dealer that they will be beneficial to business. If this happens the dealer should increase their support to keep members happy. Although we have not even been a club for a complete year yet our club keeps getting stronger and stronger. For our first event last Spring we had two days of demo rides up in the North Georgia mountains. Our club provided the manpower to help make this event a huge success. Everyone who participated was more than happy to do whatever they could to help out. The success of this event really got the attention of the dealership. They saw our dedication and have continued to make improvements to keep us satisfied. They are also willing to promote the club to potential customers which ensures there are always new potential members each time they have make a sale. Enjoyment and Enthusiasm keeps current members happy and attracts new members. When potential members see the commitment we have made and the fun we have they are hooked. |

SignguyXB12: Our group wants and needs to get out and ride regularly. (we're blessed to have Bike night at the Vortex) Riding with a group is much better then alone any day. That doesn't even bring into the equation riding an awesome looking and sounding bike. Then when you put a pack of us together thundering down the road, we get some good looks. We all have more than a little interest in Buell motorcycles. That's a start, but you'll need more like: the thinks Glitch, Black_sunshine, New12R, and StealthXB said. Good luck and if your ever in the Atlanta area let us know, Remember, Thursday night at The Vortex. (Message edited by fran_dog on November 22, 2004) |

Signguy: All of the responses seem to have a common thread. You got to get out there and ride!!! Here at the dealership, I completely support everything the 3%er's do for us. Having happy riders and customers makes it all run smoother. I have spoken to and listened to what the Brag guys and gals want. We have changed the way we promote the product and what accessory parts we stock. Go to you local dealer and chat with some of the folks there. If they want to talk have them give me call or a private email. The more Hooligans the better!!!!!! |

I think Joy would be a great 3%er'! I enjoyed watching everyone drag race. It hurt a little to watch and not be able to play. Bubba burgers were good and the cold beer was helpful to ease my pain. Hope to see some Bad Weather Bikers/3%ers riding this winter! I'm counting the days til' my new baby is here. Ride safe and keep the rubber side down! |

I saw a new rider today. Temp tag and rode a little wild and scared at times. No rain gear and I couldn't see his face but I think he was grinning from ear to ear. |

Oh fellas I feel the "RAIN". No cage so I have been riding in this garbage all week, everthing I own is soaked through and through. I at least bought a rain suit, except it now has a hole in it from the shifter. |

A hole from the shifter? Did it have booties? You're supposed to have waterproof boots. |
