I mentioned the plugs because they have them "in stock" and only take 2-3 days to get. More of a convenience thing. I'm sure you can find a better deal, but how long do you have to wait for them? Ride. A good meeting point is the Mobil gas station just North of the 60 on Idaho Rd. Just take the 60 east bound towards Mesa/Apache Junction (way out there) and the gas station is about 1/4 mile North of the FWY on the East side of the street. I'm staying at Baseline/Elsworth tonight so I can meet there at anytime in the morning. The earlier you go to Tortilla the less traffic (snowbirds) you have to deal with. By 12pm there is a flock of them out there. If we meet early enough (8am?) we should be able to ride back and forth at least a couple times before traffic gets bad. I'm meeting a few friends at Bears bar/grille at Elsworth/Baseline tonight about 9pm to kick back a few if anyone in the are is interested. |

Only have a few secs, Wycked, will be in SD this weekend, Eliz is riding out today to meet me. Give me a call 928-210-4518, we'll ride while you're out here. To every one else, thanks, I'm glad I missed too! Kobe, your remark was classic!@ Brian, this weekend will be the first long trip stress test for her mounts but they do look stronger and they've been great so far. BTW, I like the way it sounds too, she won't give it back so I'm going to have to buy one! Southern, have a safe trip man, my sentiments right back at ya. Semper Fi. Take care guys, call me Wycked. |

"Little pictures" are EXIF previews embedded in the pics we've uploaded to our profiles. They're added automatically by default by almost all Mac imaging software, and are optional (check your preferences or "save" dialog) in many PC programs (the commercial stuff, anyway...I"m not sure about free/shareware). |

I just left a Wyckedsickle up on the pass. There was a storm advisory so Elizsickle and I-sickle didn't continue. Good luck Wycked, hope you made it home safe man... Brian, the mounts held up great! |

I just rolled in Charlie and Liz. And I am sure you know it was the right decision you made Liz, it was pretty bad. Hopefully the road was clear for you. It was definately icy with bits of snow falling as I hit the downhill section. Was not fun at all. Got rained on all the way to Gila Bend. At Golden Acorn someone kicked my bike over while I was in the restroom. Not thrilled. I need another shift lever. Had enough left to make it home but I guess I better leave Dave a message. |

Vegas, Gonna try... Hey Wycked, I have a lever in that box you gave me... I'll send it to ya. Just needs the rubber thingy (proper term used...) I'm sure it'll work till you get another. We need to track down this bike tipper over and put his nuts in a vise... Oh yea, Eliz got home OK and says she felt for ya. She didn't hit much rain, but said the roads were really soaked so she kind figured you did. Glad you made it home safe. |

Wycked, Just read your post to Dave. Let me know if you need it though... I don't know how fast Dave will get it to ya this holiday. I'm sure we could get it from Yuma to PHX in no time... |

Vegas...you got mail. Wycked, I won't be able to bring up that exhaust this week. I'll be sure to let you know when I can! M1, I'll be in Chino tomorrow in the morning. I don't think I'll be there until 5, but if I am, I drop you a line. This road trippin' for work is gettin' old...fast! |

Vegas, Looks just like my Jardine. As for the price, that right around what we paid (installed) a year ago. Think we got a "deal" since our dealer was getting rid of all Buell parts/accessories at the time. Just make sure that you get the new (black) mounting brackets with it (black good - silver bad). So far, my new black ones are holding up great. Tucsonxb9s also just bought one (don't know what he paid) & according to posts is pretty happy with it also. You'll love the way it sounds! Good luck if you decide to bid. |

Wycked, Sorry to hear some kicked your bike over. Hope none of your cargo was damaged. Anyway, sorry I wussed-out on you, but I too believe I made the right decision by turning back. Glad to hear you made it back o.k. though. I saw on my way home where someone ended up in the center ditch from the opposite side of the road. The car was being pulled out when I passed by. Road was soaked from Campo all the way into Yuma. Got light/moderate rain in several areas also. Hopefully Charlieboy will be able to ride my bike home on Wednesday. |

Glad to hear it Brian... My number is 928-442-5298 if you don't have access to the net. If it's after 5:00PM it'll be 273-0219. Just FYI... It's snowing like a madman up here ATM (not that I've ever watched a madman snow I guess...) so be VERY careful on your trip up here tomorrow. If you get snowed in you're welcome to stay at my place. |

XB9Grl: Thanks for the info! Wycked sent me a link as well to price compare. I modded my stock pipe and removed the crossover tube on the inside of the muffler. It sounds pretty good, but I lost some bottom end on it. I just asked about the brackets and the guy says it is the new design. You guys be careful over there! We have the lowest snow cap that I have seen since I have lived here. It seems to drag the dummy out of people! Hope you guys get to make the ride to Kingman. Thanks again, Nick |

Liz that isn't wussing out, I know plenty of women who would have stuck it out just to "match the guys" and not paid attention to the fact I have ridden in those conditions before. You hadn't and like you said you didn't want to chance it. To me that is "riding to your ability" and that is whats important. It was still great seeing you and Charlie at Seau's. AS for the tip over, nope the side bags were empty so no damage to the camera equipment. Charlie my shifter will be here Wednesday thanks to Dave Vegas, I think you will really enjoy the Jardine. It is a pipe I have tossed around and every time I hear Liz's it just turns the screws a bit more. If I had the cash I think I would toss down for the Titanium one they have |
