can anyone tell me more about the colorado adventure? The word I've heard is the gal from BRAG will be out here in December for the preliminary leg work. As far as I know specific dates and locations have yet to be secured. |

Roger....I need to wait until there are more specific dates. If the Colorado event is in late August, it could conflict with preseason football. Even then, it's only a problem if we have a home game. Right now I'd say I'm 50/50 on making Colorado. I'll be 100% for at least part of the Homecoming. Probably 50/50 for the MotoGP races in July. I'm 75% that I could make Sears Point in the spring. |

Anybody know a little more about what they have planned for Daytona ? I went to the supercross thing earlier this year and really enjoyed it. Hope they do something like that, only this time for the 200 ! |

Wouldn't it be the balls if a Buell wins the Daytona 200? If the Red Sox can win the world series, then anything is possible! |

No. When the Cubs win the series, THEN anything is possible! |

I'm in Idaho, on the way to Laguna through the Northwest, if anybody needs a place to stay, my wife is an awesome cook (and very forgiving when I tell her at the last minute that I have invited strangers to stay for dinner or spend the night on the way through town). If we aren't already going ourselves, that is, I don't know if I can get the time off yet. Does anybody remember or have a taped copy of 2002 Laguna Seca? I took my boy, who was four at the time, and hauled him and our new german shepherd puppy around all weekend in a 'lil red wagon with a Laguna Seca umbrella attached to it, we must have had our picture taken at least a couple of hundred times. I think it was the cutest thing I have ever seen, anyway, we made it on the big screen and one of the announcers said, "now that's a factory ride if I have ever seen one," or something to that effect. My point is, if anybody has it taped I would love to have a copy.

Ah, ah, ahhh...sorry to rain on your parade, but it's neither the Sox NOR the Cubs. The good old Detroit Tigers have got them all licked. |

The Detroit Tigers can lick anybody (or anything) that they want to; I don't care about their personal lives. I'm just saying that there's a real possibility that a Buell COULD win the most prestigious motorcycle road race in the world. Of course, their chances would be better if Miguel DuHamel was in the saddle, but even so, the machine itself is capable. Hopefully, the nickel squeezers at the mothership will realize what a win at Daytona would do for Buell sales, and will let go of enough cash to let Erik, Henry and the rest of the boys do it right. Now, how in the hell am I going to be able to do Daytona this year? |

I can make one of them, so I'd prefer to go to the one where I'm going to meet the most folks, July & Aug will be the most difficult due to school holidays & associated childcare probs. I think RA may be the best bet at the moment. Any other ideas? let me know, so I can start the sweet-talking early. |

Here's my current "Grand Plan", I've promised the family a US/Canada holiday next year, so the Idea is that I pick up a mid 80s RV in the US, I'll then fly over and drive up there. If Newfie fly's to Chicago or wherever We'll run the RV back to St Johns after the fun's over & I'll fly home. Then in July/August I'll fly with the family to St Johns & tool gently to Austin over 3 weeks til it's home time again. Anybody got a cheap RV for sale? |

the Idea is that I pick up a mid 80s RV in the US, And with a weak dollar VS the frank, you should do well, but look for someone to store it, thats the part that get expensive Lets expand on the trip, say add Deals Gap into the mix, so Bill isnt doing a repeat trip SO the first 1/2 of homecomeing week is spend in deals gap(they have a great camp ground called fontana village) second half of the week at home coming BAD WEB on tour tennessee/North carolina/ wisconsin Makes for a few long days, but what the Hell So far Alex and Myself are in, anybody else R |

OH, you know me, I'm not particularly bothered if they're not actresses, just as long they're breathing! Fire me some dates Captain, so we can plan a bit, can you fix both of us up with bikes? or if Bill wants to come on his we'll find a way of cramming it into the RV for the return trip. Oh yeah, I'm getting that "Adventure" feeling again. |

All right, at this time these are guess's, because Brag has not said what they are going to do, but hear is my guess as to what may happen RA is set for June 3-5(fri-Sun) so my guess is that Brag will hold there event starting on thursady the 2nd or wedensday the 1st(if its wedensday i am guessing it will be something small late in the day, like a welcome dinner) What we could do is met up at Deals Gap on or around May 27-30th(fri-mon) and use wedensday for the ride back to Leland(another guess) So that makes 3 days at the gap 3 days at East Troy, and an all around good Adventure, Bill could go straight to the gap and save some time, as could Don, or they could meet at some point pre aranged, Alex and Mike could meet us in chicago, sleep over and head straight down or we could do what i have done in the past, which is leave at or around noon on friday, take secondary roads, from chicago to 55 miles out side of cincy(great state park, and camping) than arrive at the gap refreshed instead of a crazed bonzi run, which isnt all bad, but not great(about 600 miles from chicago) the secondary route however longer is spectacular in spots and we can always slab it to Leland So my guess at the dates is May 29-June 6 or so And if there is a need, i am sure we could figure out a bike situation(2 people have offered so far, i am sure there are others if need be. Again please drop Don and Email, i dont have his, and i have tried numerous times, to no avail Meeting at the Gap also means that several people can meet from around the country, and we could all roll into Leland, or East Troy as a group, could be a fun time, but a couple things to remeber, Fontana is located in a DRY town, you dont have to camp, we can rent a cabin or hotel room(all are avliable) i think it could be as much fun, maybe more so, than the last time plus i know what to expect so it makes it easier to do let me know what you think R |

Ahhh, innes, are you serious ok hear goes: BAD WEB on tour tennessee/North carolina/ wisconsin Deals gap is located on the boarder of TN and North Carolina(you actually cross the boarder about where the dragon ends(you cross into N.C.) Fontana Village(www.fontanavillage.com) is located on the N.C. side of the gap, actually 11 miles from the gap(on another great road) R.A. and east troy are located in wisconsin, that is north of illinois, Chicago by about 2 1/2 hours of very boring road Home coming for the past few times has taken place in leland Wi(thats the host hotel location) So your looking at about 5 states that would need to be traversed, between the 2 locations, a little over a weeks time, and what i think could be a lot of fun let hear what everyone else thinks R |

Roger, I'll arm wrestle ya for Dennis's Corvette?!?! Grumpy, You may find a better deal here in Canada on an RV. Look for something Diesel and try Autotrader Canada The only other concern is registering/insuring the dam thing, I can acomplish that for you here in Canada - I have access to an RV Insurance Program. You can also use my home address as a place of residence if needed. Just one of the other things to consider. |
