John, They are available in two styles: Front and rear "Stealth" And the "Racing" style: They are available through Dark Horse Moto at http://home.earthlink.net/~darkhorsemoto/ or through our own "Daves". Keith |

Question: With the "racing" style rear sliders, the ones with the slot machined in: I take it the slot is meant to be used with an axle stand on the rear. But which mfrs. stand fits the slot? |

The slots are there to accommodate a swing arm stand if so desired. Most stands are adjustable in width. If you decide to purchase a swing arm stand, you will want to look for this feature. Keith (aka S k u l l y) |

I'm thinking I need something like this. I have seen others attach to the motor, which I am a little skeptical about. Is it everyones opinion that these are the best option. I have never had a set of sliders before, but I think it makes logical sense. |

I think the combination of these (race or stealth) and the Buell frame pucks offer the best protection bang for the buck available. |

I have the swingarm sliders from Dark Horse already, and will be getting the fork sliders within the week. Keith is a great guy and you definitely won't be disappointed with the product. Mine are powder-coated black to match the bike, and are the 'stealth' version. Together with the CF frame protectors and Buell pucks, they're all the protection my bike needs/is getting. |
