OK you guys wanted pictures- here you go
**I helped but I was the one taking the pics so I don't have proof I helped but I did!!!
It wasn't rocket science, just time consuming.

The guys did both bikes in 3.5 hrs.

Getting Started-
For my bike we used a 4X4 post and a 2X4 to jack it up, while Fran had some snazzy contraptions.
Fran had already started the night before-


Now this screw gave the boyz a HARD time!!!


First piece Installed- (Will eat your heart out)


The Tear down part one-


Coming together just fine- rather coming apart.


Hey look I got new reflectors




They were using the manual, really they were-



OK sometimes the pics seem to work and sometimes they don't go figure. Refresh the page and maybe they'll work. for you.


On my bike they had to take the tail body work off to get the shock out.




Looks like I now have a yellow shock-

Tbs-stunta I didn't show on behave that I don't have a bike or I would have been there. I see you road Richard Russell Glitch and I ride that for a road test in winter. Always a little grain-uler with the road breaking up and a bit rough in some places but never the less a great view and still a nice ride. I will be riding a lot more this winter!! My fall riding got wiped out this year. So winter here I come! I hope to have some Bad Weather buds to ride with. Hope to see you riding with us. The word on the bikes has changed to late dec. for the 05 XB9R and early dec. to mid for XB12R new blue. I will think I will stick with the 9 has a lot of up grades like the 12R forks, ECM, Fuel inj., and maybe lower gearing that I'm not sure about. With the price difference I will add a few goodys on the 9. At this point I might just try to ride Along4theride's Blast just to ride. I always tell people that "I don't care what you ride as long as you ride!" And your not a squid! Well I do care what I ride but on the other hand when you don't have a bike beggers can't be choosers! I just want to ride! I MISS ALL MY BUDDIES!!! I'm going to sign off now take care ride safe.

Cool pics! Looks like a Buell XB chop shop. You should post in the knowledge vault for others to see. I'm sure others would like to do it as well.

Fran...NICE GRILL! wonder where mine is? How do you know that was yours anyway? By the way, I did order first. How's the new "big boy" ride. Is it much different? Can't wait to see in person. I rode some this afternoon around my house and was cold. Gotta get use to this cold weather riding. :<

B_S: Yea, I thought you'd like the new grill. After all, you kind of talked me in to it.

I went for a cool ride today, and the new height it's to bad. It's going to take a few miles to get myself feeling at home with my ride, but so far so good. Seat should be here Tuesday for a little bit more height and cushion.

I am glad everything went well for the suspension swap, from the pics it looks like I missed out on some serious fun and a great BUELLlearning experience. Anyway as Sam posted earlier this Sat. is going to be a burn all the crap I need to burn and will commence the firestarting around 7:00pm. Yall are welcome to join just post a heads up so I can get a close head count for drinks, snacks so on. See everyone soon.

Oh yeah, who is in for thursday? I will be riding all day I am sure.

Glitch, finally called Jam-Strait (led bulbs) and they told me that they are having huge problems with Auto-Zone being their supplier. She told me to go to Accessorysourcedirect.com and they could help me out. I ordered a pair of 194HW LED's. They should be here by the end of the week and I'll let you know how they work out. They were $29.00 a pair. ($10 more than A-Z) Later....odie

It's amazing how much work ya gotta do before you can take some leave.
The dyno-graph will be ready soon. The printer wasn't working, and I wasn't thinking I might need a floppy disk. They're closed on Sunday and Monday, so tomorrow evening I should have something to post.
On the way home the engine light came on. The bike ran fine, so I rode the rest of the way home. Went to Shred's to do the jumper and read the trouble code. Thought it was so cold the fan didn't need to come on. Trouble code 36. Fan. Looks as though the bike kicked up a wrapper off a pack of crackers, and stopped the fan from spinning. Burnt the motor out. Sucks. None in stock. My favorite parts girl promised she would have me one asap.
Could have been worse.
We get to burn stuff?!
Cool! Count me in!
Ya'll gonna be Buelligan enough to brave the cold Thursday?
My head lamps (Xenon) are in, I'll (hopefully) pick them up on the way home tomorrow.

Glitch I'm making the wish list for the bike. It looks like I have some money to play with. Sending out rims next week to get painted black or that new asphalt black. I need that address for that leather place in Fla. Found that right hand side air scoop. Black fiber glass or C.F and LSL crash Bobbins for frame.
