Please no! I spent last year working 7 days a week and 16 hour days to keep the Westchester (Valhalla) form having to use ConEd provided generators to run the hospital and prison. Just as I think that's behind me, I get tagged for ANOTHER power plant. Only difference is that this one (a $880M 500MW contract) will be making power before the one (a $650M 500MW contract) next door. To do that, you got it, we'll be spending all winter 52' from the water in New York City starting at 5:00AM daily. I am already barring the door far too many nights after dark, but it's a great team to work with. Hey..if you are in the New York City area, stay tuned. To meet our schedule we are having the 3,000,000 pound HRSG's "pre-fabbed" in Holland to save 140,000 man-hours of welding. They are designed to clear the Brooklyn Bridge by less than 2' when we bring them in and roll them (construction of a special road has commenced) into place. Please Lord.....another 1998 (66 degrees in January) winter! Court |

Court, I feel your pain but my passion for sliding sideways down mountains on a board overrules all the rest. If I'm lucky I may get to bump into John Carey in VT this season. With the emphasis on BUMP. |

They need to make 180 series knobbies so that I can get out of the driveway here in RI. Chains wouldn't destroy anything, right? |
