Thanks NN for the compliment Yes, the meeting was way cool. It does make me glad I've got a carbed tuber Now that the weather has gotten a tad chilly, it's time to tear down the S3 and do some "upgrades". I wont be embarrased by my nephew beating me on a drag race anymore The track days they are talking about, would be REALLY fun. Me, never being to a tack day, am still nervous about it though... Definately time to machine up some frame/swingarm sliders. Any others that have tubers need some? Gimme a count, I can accomodatcha Does Delrin work well for the bobbins? |

Uwgriz, I don't see why not... The frames and swingarms on the '99 and newer are a different. I may need to take some measurements off the swingarms, and a good photo of the frames at least. The boxed steel swingarm slider will obviously be easier to make |

Lake, I've looked at the Blast today, and just can't find a GOOD spot to attach a frame slider, without welding/drilling the frame. Even the S3, with a stock airbox will be a bit of a challenge to mount one. |

Have Bomber shoot you a picture of his bike. He has sliders. I'm don't remember where they mount. |

I just missed meeting you last night, I was at Wes's place just before you picking up a few things for Hellion's M2. Enjoy the bikes, I know he was particularly fond of the S1. |

CJ, yeah, WOW! And I must say, Wes is a *REALLY* nice and honest dude to deal with. My brother sold his HD Superglide(AKA "the John Deer", to afford them. Kinger. My brother is gonna go a racin' I'll use one of them or the XB9R for several track days this spring/summer. The Silver bike needs some work. The motor is done blown up. No biggie, Wes is including all the parts to put it back together. It should be running by the folowing weekend. The black bike is *REALLY* ready for racing. Dual front discs, Penske shock, etc... So, I'm contemplating going to a "track school" this winter. I've got a lot of gear to buy this winter. A better helmet, leathers, etc... Good thing I've got the "unlimited" overtime thing going for the foreseeable future |

Kinger, oh yeah, I *WILL* still be making some frame sliders for the "tubers", since it didn't notice any on the racers. |

Uwgriz, yeah, I could tell. He was happy they were going to go to a "good home" that wasn't going to gut them, and part 'em out on ebay. The S1 is a SWEET looking bike, being all silver, with the 100th logos on 'em. |
