Ok I love this 5hit like a fiend loves crack!!! Waited an hour in line last night at a midnight sales just to get my fix. Had to pry my hands off the controller at 6 am in order to get a couple hours sleep before work. If anyone out there plays, let me know and we can hook up. I will be back online as soon as I get off work. (6 pm Eastern) Send me a friend request and we can slaughter some aliens BadWeB style!!! gamertag: fade01 |

I'll pick mine up at noon but probably won't be online until 9pm CST or so. I should be on by 6:30CST the rest of the week. XBL:Shadowfax I usually play GR2, RainBow6, and Burnout3 and have been on XBL since the beta test. |

Stealth....I'm picking up my reserved copy tonight after work. Unfortunately, I don't have high speed access at home. No on-line play time for me |

Hahahahaa, I am sitting here at work trying my damndest not to get caught sleeping..... I bought a brand new NEC LT170 Projector this weekend, invited a few friends over last night to check out the Theater size picture. Once we realized Halo2 would be available at midnight just around the corner from my house, it was game on! Split screen Slayer on 106" screen, component video, and surround sound is amazing. I crawled in with my wife at 6:30 this morning to get 45 min of sleep in. She thinks I am crazy! I haven't heard if my buddies got the crap beat out of them by their wives..... We are too old to get worked up over this stuff aren't we. And duel wielding of weapons is an awesome addition. I hardly ever play video games but this one will be on a lot! I am not "live" gaming yet......may change soon |

I have to wait...I think my wife is getting me a copy for an upcoming anniversary. I sure have missed the Grunts, running around with their arms flaying about and screaming, "He's killing us all! Run A-WAY!" |

There were about 300 people waiting for the clock to strike midnight at the GameSpot last night. I have been waiting for this for so long and now I am stuck at work! Shazam... That sounds like a sweet set up! At least I have the Collector's Edition DVD to get me through the day. |

I don't have a projector but I do have JBL Studio Series surround sound off a Denon 3802 with a 20-39PCi SVSubwoofer. It works I'll get a bigger TV when the specs and prices settle out more. Meanwhile I spent my HT fund on a 3-seat version of this. |

Went with a bud last night @ 9pm. 300 people in line at EB to get a number to come back at 1:30 am to get game. We said "the heck with this", went to his house & slaughtered grunts on the old Halo. Tonight though! Oh yeah, I was playing "Rock Anthem for Saving the World" on the car stereo the whole time. |

My wife and kids are going to go pick up our copy this afternoon. The kids took in a bunch of their old games they didn't play and traded them in. They got enough credit for them to get Fable and order HALO 2, Special Edition. It's waiting at the store for us right now. |

You guys suck. I am part of that small percentage of people that can not play first persons shooters. If I play for 15 minutes I am nauseous for a hour. Yes I have played Halo, and yes that game as beautiful as it is makes me physically ill to play. My poor Xbox will never know the joys of Halo. But hey I still get to play Fable and KOTOR. |

Fable made me ill (and bored). Some games I need to adjust to. Halo2 rocks tho. StealthXb - I sent an invite. If you haven't tried Burnout3 give it a go. Way too much fun. |

I can't play first person shooters as well. I can play for a short time, then I get sick, but my kids love it and I like watching it once in a while. |

Got mine Tuesday morning at Wal-Mart. No line, took me 6 whole minutes in and out. I'll have to give the XBOX Live a try. Halo 2 came with 2 free months. I just have to find a 25' Ethernet cable! I dig the Dual Wield, although carrying 2 plasma pistols cuts down my line of sight. Not really hot on playing the Covenant in single player, maybe it'll grow on me. |

I haven't opened the instructions yet - how do you throw a grenade with dual-wield? |

What if it discharges on impact? Will there be additional paperwork? The Live "party" system takes a little getting used to. |

Played for about 3 hours last night. The wife was getting pissed for about the 1st hour. Then she was getting into the action. Yelling at me to watch out for this guy or that guy. She really got pissed when I shoot one of my own guys. I'm just at the end of the bridge with the tank. It took me a few minutes to get re-acquanted with the movements. I sold my first Halo to a friend about 1 1/2 ago. |

I just got through it on the easy setting...the end was....rather...anti-climatic. It left me thinking..."Is that it?" Perhaps you get a different ending on the higher difficulty levels? |

How many "levels" are there in the game (not difficulty but missions)? I think I'm about 1/2 through mission 3 (I'm the other guy). I'm playing on the normal difficulty setting. It hasn't been too challenging yet. But it's still a blast to load up with dual plasma rifles and go to town on the aliens |

I haven't played anything other than live. Some of these multi-player games are a little goofy. I think they should recap the rules/objectives before it starts. Just a thought. |

No On-line X-live play, but this weekend we'll be hooking up a hub for lan play at my buddies Sat/TV store. Halo2 is pretty good but "Ghost Recon 2" comes out next week, I'm really looking forward to it, it's the best game out there imho. JimS |

most (all?) XBox-live-enabled games come with 2months free. As far as I know you can "stack" them to your heart's content. |

My gamertag: ChainSaw XB9R Tedk: I looked up stats this morning, Halo 2 has had 340,000 people playing live, 34,000 currently! I looked up my game stats, not too impressive. I've played 13 games and I'm a level 3. The guys on the top of the board have played 300 online games and are level 17 or so. It seems to take a while to get into the actual game, 1.5 to 3 minutes, which seems like an eternity when there is no noise coming from all my electronic dohickies hooked up to the TV. |
