well if you noticed I haven't spent much time here lately. And its been on purpose. In a week I move into my new house on the river and I believe I won't be hooking up to the internet anytime soon. I have noticed in the last few weeks that I have left this lil world out of my life I have been happier and at peace more than I have been in the last 5 years. I have been enjoying time with my friends and family that actually exsist in my real world on a daily basis and spending time just hangin out on my bike and just generally goofing around in my spare time like most of us use to do before these computers came along. If you want the drummer just call kevin at the shop 828-324-9991. I will no longer obviously be able to answer emails since I won't be hookes up, plugged in, or any other shape form to all this maddness. Guess I will have to do my shopping the old fashioned way for now on.....put my money back into my community where I live. Huh a novel Idea that has worked for thousands of years before this crazy world hit. I guess I'll have to keep informed of stuff the old way also....the daily paper and news reports on the radio or televison. another novel idea that has worked for awhile. Besides its easier to weed thru the issues without having to weed thru a very large pile of bullpukey before you find the meat. oh well anyways I wish you all well and I might be back to it someday but who knows maybe not. the ol rat race is gonna have to live without me. unless of course it comes down and visits me on the river and wants to have a beer and throw a line out in the water and relax abit. seesya |

Your input here will be missed. I think you are making a wise move. The internet is a valuable tool, but it too easily becomes a focus of one's free time when there are much more rewarding and healthy things to be engaged in. Be happy and healthy Bubba...in the end that is ALL that matters. |

Charlie you need to get your butt up here and hang out. and I will take your advice on the wet worm and such M1...nope no nice garage...just a nice lil work shop.... and a fish cleaning stand. the cool thing was today , my boy "lucky" my dog has turned the river into his personal mother natures water bowl. he figured out how to put his feet just right off the bank and get himself a lil drink of water. I was like a proud parent. Bad not sure if I'll be up there next year. my vactions will be down to hang with Ted in the moutains, and then just to hang at my joint. maybe I'll phone in tho |

Hey Brian, Great to hear from you. You're missed in this area brother. I had to get me a new dealer for all things HD/Buell -- your hippie brother from way up north and boy does he talk funny :-) Stay in touch and me and the little guy will see you in the summer. Greg |

Enjoy your retirement, print off a copy of the RAN before you disconnect & if you make it to Europe I shall be mortally offended if you don't come for a jar. ps I'm listening to Steve Earle, The Revolution Starts NOW. It's absolutely ripping, the best he's done for ages. |

Bubba ,that sounds like a wise move.If you don't already have one,get a canoe. There's nothing better than being alone in a canoe on a river on a warm day,...eagles,osprey,5 foot diameter sycamore trees, believe it or not beavers are back here in N.Ohio.If you canoe at night you'll almost certainly hear, maybe see various types of owls. What a beautiful world. |

Yo Bubba! In the short time I've known ya, you were an inspiration and I consider you a friend. So, since you won't be 'online' anymore.. You're going to have to send me a snail mail.. After all, what will I do if I do make it up your way.. and have no way to find that cold soda / line droppin', ammo burnin' area your in? Hopefully, I can count on one last communique from you.. Enjoy your life. It's the only one you have right now. And don't worry about us, we'll always be here, and I for one will always count you as friend, virtually family.. and always in my good guy list. Later, |

Bubba, Drop me a line before you drop off the net with your address and/or phone number. You never know when I or Newfie or one of the other crazies just might unwind a tyre all the way to your door! I always liked spending time by the water, grew up like that and I miss the calm... Oz |

Bubba, In the short time I met ya your always welcome to drop your carcass up my way anytime you want. Like Ozz said - drop me an email with your snail mail address as its always nice to have friends in the US. Gonna be harder to get into the US in the future seeing that its just a matter of time before they start fingerprinting people at the border. If I have committed no crimes I really don't like the idea of a foreign State having that kind of personal information on me. |

What?!? I thought we were done with Buckinfubba and now he's posting cell phone info!!! Seriously though, I can see where he's coming from. I work in information technology and even I'm starting to wonder if technology is really good for us. Technology was supposed to make our lives easier and it has, but it's also forced us to be "on" all the time. There's no down time. There's no time to just sit and reflect on all the information coming in. It's like trying to get a drink of water from a fire hydrant. I sometimes wonder how healthy that is. Good luck, Buckinfubba! Don't forget to put away the fishin' pole once in awhile and go for ride! |

Brian.... It's truly been a pleasure having crossed paths with you in this crazy world. I'll be forever touched by the friendship you've shown to everyone you meet. If the rest of this planet lived like you, it would forever be a better place. I hope our paths will cross again. Good luck and be safe!!!! |
