Oi...

Any Badwebbikers from Oz who have tips on where it's possible to get a decent exhaust for an XB? I've got about 2500 km's on mine now, and I still love it. But people are right: It sounds like an air compressor with a bad case of asthma.

Has anyone downunder got an aftermarket pipe? Are any available in Oz? Has anyone imported from the States? If so, is it expensive or a lot of work?

American Sport Bike ships to Australia all the time. Mufflers tend to be a bit on the large heavy side, so the shipping can be a bit pricey, but from what our customers tell us, the price with the shipping is still very competitive with what the store prices are there. We carry the D&D, Jardine, Latus, and Buell race mufflers for the XB at this time.

It'll be cheaper than retail here if you can get the parcel sent USPS and not UPS. I'm sure you've figured by now that the RRP from H-D Aust is usually very close to 3X US RRP before currency conversion. ie 12 Airbox lid ~US35 = AUD$110, frame pucks about the same.

I have a D&D and a race can, 5000 and 4000 miles. Let me know if you want... You won't mistake the D&D for a compressor! I just got my force today, so the D&D comes off on Wednesday.
