I think they are going to do the O.P.S in the AM at Dave's before they head to the dealership. |

Hey Glitch I'll be up there the weekend before Xmas. Hopefully we can meet up and maybe you could hook up a brotha with a couple of patches for me and Odie? Maybe an orange one for me? Anyway I hope you guys have fun tomorrow, I get to go shoot a .50 cal machine gun in the morning, then I have to go to work tomorrow night. Gonna be a long day. Would somebody please tell Sid in the parts department that I said thanks again for the hook up on the Screamin Eagle mufflers! Steve |

Went to SMHD 6th anniversary party; I wish I could've stayed longer but I was on a very limited "pass" for the morning. It was good meeting some of the other 3%er's and putting faces with names. Can't wait to go on another ride. (Message edited by Blaster_s on November 06, 2004) |

Here is some pics from today's hooligan activity. Sbullet....I may have spanked you on the first one but you got me on the last. My fastest was 1/4 mile in 11.8 sec at 116.5 mph with 85hp at the rear. New 12r tore everyone a new a hole!!! He clocked in at 10.7 at 124 mph with 98hp at rear. Stealth just missed New12r by 1 tenth of a sec. He had the fastest reaction time of .3 sec....Damn! A4TR whooped myself and Glitch's a hole with her best run. NOt sure of numbers. I am humbled. Greats Job that a way to represent the females. Great time guys. I think we earned some respect from the Harley guys. |

Shred- Thanks for that extra 'push' to do the Dyno. Until you took away my last excuse I really wasn't going to do it. Glitch- Thanks, thanks for doin' it again so we could go 9 against 9. My best run 1/4- 11.58 119.3 MPH HP- 83.6 Stealth- I'd love to get a copy of this pics from your camera. Could you burn them for me? I want to see if I captured one of the B_S moments when he had his tongue out. I think he shifts better with his tongue out. It was a good day!!! I really had no desire to do the Dyno but I am glad that you guys 'talked' me into it, it was fun. |

What a day, I can now officially claim bragging rights to the fastest(in a straight line)Buell. I had a great time today and did not expect to do so well up there! I really thought Glitch and Stealth would have beat me though, on the road we all pull very close together on wide open runs. Well I must rest(remember I am sick) BUELL'S RULE!! |

Stealth, that is great to hear! Did you run it on the dyno?? I'm curious what numbers that thing is pushing. Like I said though, it sounds great and my rear end dyno says it makes great power so I'm happy regardless of what some machine says (it's not like they are all putting out the same numbers anyways...). I'm not racing, although you guys had a good time today it looks like. Good pics B_S. Glitch- did you get some numbers on the pipe??? Wish I could'a been there. |

Odie... The dyno number's varied from pull to pull. I think the man (me) had more influence on the low number than the machine. 1/4 Mile Elapsed time: 11.052 Speed: 122.100 Reaction Time: 1.095 HP: 88.8 I did improve my reaction time in the second round to .396 However, that was my highest HP of the day. Not near enough to run with New12R who stood mighty as King of the Hill. |

I'm happy regardless of what some machine says Me too man. But I know that thing is running a lot stronger than it was before. It is taking everything I have to keep the front end down!!! Along4theride... I will post the pics 2morrow. If you want a particular pic or all of them at a higher resolution just let me know and I will email them to you or burn them to disc. Mini... Do you have a night this week that you would like to get together? |

I got my kicked by Joy (my wife) on the dyno race, again. I did win one race, however she started in 2nd gear. I will take a win anyway I can get it. I'm glad everyone showed up at the event today. It is great to see a pack of Buells roll up. We have never had that many Buells at any of our events. Greg (owner) let Joy ride his bike and she ran a 10.8 and 126 MPH. If I had the money, I would consider buying her a drag bike. Thanks everyone for all your support. We should be a sponsor by next week. Can't wait to start Chris's stealth project. More details to follow. |

I was running Glitch's pipe for a few weeks until I made the 12 pipe and it performed well so I can see a 9 race pipe doing ok. I would like to see the lines on a chart though. I also think that a dedicated dyno without the distraction of draggin' your buddy may produce better numbers. I'm dyno'ing mine in a few weeks barring any problems with schedules etc. When it comes down to it all that matters is the person is happy. Stealth seems very happy and can tell that it is performing better. Rooster2168 is happy, Glitch is happy, I'm happy. The front end does tend to come up alot easier for sure! Now to pick out which Glitch-produced logo I like the best.....I think it is going to have to be the Spec O.P.S. one......Later....Odie |

You would surely get better numbers if you just did a regular dyno. Hell, I hit neutral on my second run and started in second on my third. |

Best time was 11.7sec @ 119.9mph with 83HP Probably could have done much better if I could figure out how to launch the damn thing. Good thing I have no aspirations to be a drag racer. New12r!New12r!New12r! Man, you were rippin'! |

Glitch, again, I think a dedicated dyno would produce better numbers. I want to know how New12r was making those numbers and Stealth wasn't?!?! I still think a street ride would show the better, smoother, power producer as far as pipes go......Later...Odie |

I hate I missed this weekend but, oh well duty calls. The dyno drag sounds like alot of fun but I'm not to sure about how accurate the numbers are. On that I'll have to agree with Odie, however havin fun is what its all about. I've put my 12R on an actual drag strip and while I'm no pro by any means my bike was very low 12's high 11's at best. Of course that was before the K&N filter. I guess not having to worry about the front end standing straight up helps alot on hard launches. Oh well I can't wait for my turn at it.Looking forward to maybe meeting a few more of you guys next month. Later Steve |

Odie you got mail. Stealth's bike may not have had enough time to learn the pipe. We had just put it on. I agree about a dyno graph, I'm on it. Time has been short lately I really want to see the curve more than the numbers. |

Odie, I am sure the machine is accurate but, I was strapped down, no front wheel lift and I could launch really hard. I was feathering out the clutch on a 5,000 rpm launch! I do believe that a real drag strip would put me in the mid 11's. My bike is all stock with the exception of the 9 pipe(Crazy Ron pointed out it is hitting the idler wheel again!)so maybe it just works for no reason. Anyway, A4TR, Samantha, and I rode up to the real twistys today, ABSOLUTELY FREAKING PERFECT RIDING WEATHER!!!! I dont mean to rub it in but it was fantastic today. A4TR did great with her new bike for the first run in the hills, I was two up so we stayed close and just had a nice ride. Samantha is getting wilder and did not flinch a lick at speeds of up to ??? while trying to catch Ron and his buddy Scott. Another guy riding two up pulled a wheelie riding away from BP across from T.W.O. and Sam told me HELL NO! It was fun and those of you not there were missed. Ride Safe. |
