Well....the new Fuell is out and the 2005 events are listed on the back cover. It looks like someone was reading our previous posts regarding what we want. For those of you that don't get Fuell, here what was listed: March - Daytona April/May - Sears Point/Sonoma June - Homecoming/Road America July - Laguna Seca/Moto GP races August - Colorado Adventure September - Atlanta area While I'd love to make 3-4 of the events, it looks like at least 2 are in my plans. I'll be 100% for the homecoming and 75% for either Sears Point or Colorado. So what are you planning for 2005? |

I'll be at Homecoming this year, and I'll most likely hit up the Atlanta one since I missed out on meeting that crew a few weeks ago. |

I want to do all of them. Reality says that I'll probably be able to do Colorado. I'd also like to do Homecoming, but I don't know if I'll be able to afford it or get the time off from work. Of course, come next February, I'll be trying to figure out how to do Daytona again. Ah, so many events, so little time (and money)... |

Hey,Lake,I can offer you a place to crash if you want to do Sears Point.I live about 30 miles away and usually have Bob and Deb Gussenhoven and a couple of other dirtbags around for the weekend. We have some awesome back ways to the track from my backyard. I have had my Laguna tickets for weeks. (Message edited by firemanjim on November 06, 2004) |

I'll be at something :-) I'm riding to the Formula One race (somewhere between 12 June and 3 July) with my son next year -- Rolling Graduation Party! I'll know more as soon as F1A comes out with the firm date. May be a good time to go see Dave???? |

BadS1, Did I hear doin' Daytona? My brother and I may be doing that also. We do have a full sized school bus for road trips such as this. Can carry a good 6 bikes, plus their riders quite easily |

All but one of the events (Colorado)is being held in conjunction with/around the time of an AMA Road Racing Event. I like it. I'll be at Daytona, possibly Atlanta, Linda wants to go to Colorado, not sure about Homecoming this time. |

I have heard that they want to have it about the same time as Cycle Fest(www.cyclefestco.com). Last August the first two rounds of the AMA Supermoto Series was held during that weekend. So there will be some very good racing to be seen. Cheryle and I meet Kurt Nicoll, and Jurgen Kunzel while sitting in the hot tub at the condo complex we stayed at this year. Cycle Fest has been held the third week in August the last two years but there are rumors of it being moved up to an earlier weekend. They may be waiting for that date to be set. Kim |

I don't know if I could live with myself if I went to Colorado without my xr400. dualsport dirt bikes out there is THE ticket! I imagine sport bikes would have a good time too but I can't imagine it comparing to trail biking it. I do feel a need to got to some street events. 60% dragon, 30% road america? can anyone tell me more about the colorado adventure? Dan |

The AMA schedule has the Road Atlanta Event the first weekend in Sept. The VIR event is tentatively scheduled for the third weekend in Sept. |

Dan, My DR650 hasn't seen the mountains yet. If it is late in August everyone would be in school anyway and I could take the time. I said after the last time I rode to Colorado "the Buell would be on a trailer the next time". I could easily fit the DR on a trailer with the Buell. One day on the trails then the next on the roads (to recover). Sounds good to me. |
