mmmmmmmm, trackday Video available shortly. It was awesome! I will give a full report when I have a little more time to type. Faster, is a "must own" DVD. supposedly a special edition is due out in the next few weeks that has a bunch more unseen video....glad I didn't watch that before my trackday, I would have been scared 5hitless. It's awesome! |

There was a lot of Buellshit bantering going on when the movie started, then not a peep for the duration. WHAT A MOVIE! It was so cool, thanks Scott for opening your home. Sam was wanting to show his videos of himself running around a track and thru the Ozarks, but me thinks he was shamed by Gary McCoy's viscous slides and got real quiet. You shoulda been there. |

This was a quote from Scott after we all left... "All those Buelligans and we have light colored carpet... WHAT WERE WE THINKING?" Next week they are replacing the carpeting because of movie night... hey guys... lets volunteer to help! What can go wrong? I was also pleased to see that to a person everyone single one showed up wearing a toga. The combination toga party and movie night was a total success! For those of us that rode in... it was a challenge not getting the toga caught in the drive belt. The first prize for best toga was awarded to Sam. We had a special photo session in Scott's side yard to remember the grand prize winner. Losing that photo should be good for a case or two of beer! A quote from Dennis... "What photo of Sam... I don't remember taking a photo of Sam!" (how was that Sam?) As long as there is always a beer with my name on it in your garage... no amount of torture will cause me to say different!!! It was a great time! TOGA... TOGA... TOGA!!! |

Just 6 days into my personal 60 day war aginst the dreaded mallard duck population. The fighting has been hot and heavy. I seem to be winning the war for the time being. Dakota has more than one duty in life. He not only retrieves drunks when they are lost but he does a pretty good job bringing back the corpses from this war.

I was at Central H-D today and the a couple of guys at the parts counter confirmed the rumor that Gail's H-D would be the exclusive Buell dealer for KC. They said from their understanding that details still had to be worked out for when this would take place. They said they would then no longer sale Buell parts. Dave does this mean Gail's will sponsor the BRAG chapter by default????? |

Dasbuell, Where did you get the small block of led's you had hooked to your radar detector? A friend of mine who deals with Gail's for H-D bikes and parts said that he's talked with some of the guys at Gail's and they are really up on the idea. I don't know if it's from counting dollar signs or excited about Buells |

Gail's has always treated me pretty well. I have used both Central and Gail's. I am pretty sure that they have at least 1 dedicated Buell guy. I don't have any complaints about them. Their new dealership looks pretty sweet. |

I don't know Loren. I was on my way to Central to discuss better communications and see if we could help them at their grand opening. I guess we have more to talk about. If Gail's HD/Buell wants to sponsor a BRAG club then of course we will discuss. For now let's keep the discussion polite. Thank you. Thank you very much. |

opinions are like a$$holes everybody has one and most stink....all I really have to say is I am a union automobile technician and I would bet that when you get your cars worked on the mechanic you take it to isn't a union man or when you take your Buell in for service at the dealer the mechanic at Central isn't union either...this is America and people have a choice as to whom they want to use when they have some type of work done whether it be a little job or a big job...I have met and talked several times with Gail and she is a nice lady and I will buy from their store if I need parts , they are a hell of a lot more friendly than Central which is in Kansas and a non union store to boot... |

Hey I like the union guys and the non union guys like myself, We can all be friends and get things going to benefit us all, The union has a place and the non union guys do too we don’t have to get testy here guys I bet we all eat burgers and fry’s cooked buy non union people HUH? Lets all be friends and not worry who is union and not. There has to be balance and lets all accept it and be friends, it is the individuals that make things good or bad not the union. Gail's was gonna "treat me right" too when I was shopping for my XB... it was ONLY gonna cost me $1500.00 more than at any other dealer! When they finally come out with a touring Buell... I am not thinking I will get a price any place near MSRP at Gail's ... and I am not saying it will be below MSRP! Wind... give me a couple of days... I interneted the lights for my radar detector... and I can't remember from who. I will get back with an answer by this weekend. |

Regarding KC CENTRAL BRAG: Well I've had a few discussions today with Buell dealers and BRAG. Marilyn at Central confirmed that they have been cut, and Blue Springs has also been cut. BRAG has no idea who will or won't be dealers next year as they only get advised after the fact. I am still researching alternatives and discussing with the club managers. It looks like we have a good topic for our next meeting, Thursday Nov 18 at Casa de Hernandez. Still looking for a centrally located meeting venue. If anyone has an idea please throw it out. (Please verify that they have a meeting room before you do that) Considering the emotional discussion that has already occured I request that we NOT use this forum. I will send a group email from the KCBuellers@yahoo.com account. Please reply to that email for any helpfull input you may have. Be sure to "reply to all" so everyone in the club can see your HELPFULL input. Thanx, DaveT |

Central HD / Buell has invited us to attend the groundbreaking of their new facility. Hopefully it will be dry and we can make some noise so that the new neighbors get used to it. Nov 21. Details to follow. |

I made it over there this afternoon. Had a warranty issue on a headlight and figure I would give them a shot. Nice store, very friendly crew. Darn the luck I missed the Buell Accessories Dept. Must have been where the crowd was and I did go over to that area. They did have three bikes. A 12R, a City-X, and a Blast. That's all I saw. |

Looking forward to the day all will be happy. I myself never intend to anyone off, thus just bring their attention to my perspective of life. If someone gets in my way of life I usually vent it to others to justify my feelings. I will in the future control those thoughts better so you all can enjoy YOUR club (Union). Yes its true, you as a club, you are the same as a Union, you all meet once a month, you pay due's, and above all see to a safe and happy to RIDE!! Don't want to change any of our club, nor do I want anyone to fued over my personal problems. I will come to even's with Gail I am sure, as I do with all places put in with non-Union help (Burger King, Mc Donalds, ECT.), I am a grown up and know when to stop. As a member of this club I would agree with member Derek in the feelings of better organized rides at least twice a year!! We did not even attempt one organized ride this last year, it's allways seems to be ---a if you want to go basis only. We need ORGANIZED rides that encourage fellowship and a Motive, such as a fund raiser. I am not your person to do this becouse of my work schedule, but I can tell you that there is at least five of us that can and will, you just need to help take control. (if you will) My words may be laimen but to the point, we need riders, we need friendship. We are really good people!!! Get er done!! Paul Fischer |
