Deb have not get the package off to you yet. Camping this weekend is out for us. Taking Nicole out to dinner Sat night for her B-day. Maybe I will come down Sunday early and have some breakfast with you all. I think Chris is racing out at Mac track on Sunday. I will have to call you and let you know whats going on. It would be cool if you guys stayed in Seattle with us. I am working on a room discount at the Best Western and will post more about that later. Anyways I will call you tomorrow night or early Sat if I don't have to work. Loni |

Kimberlie, check out the "Death Stack" thread in the Quick Board. Glitch has fabricated a pic demonstrating a great squirrel removal device for motorcyclists. |

Heyo from Mortar-itaville, (AKA Balad, Iraq) *waves to Pete* Kinda sad I'm gonna miss out on IMS. Got good news of my own yesterday though, I will officially be a northwesterner again come August. I got orders to Fairchild AFB, Wash. out side Spokane. It will be nice to be riding near an active Buell community... Salt Lake City sucks for comradery. Anyway off to watch movies all day and wonder what my job over here really is. Josh |

Josh, Wave back from Arifjan I'm sure you will like Fairchild. I've been stationed there three times now. We'll have to get together and ride when you get there. There are some great roads around Lake Cour D'Elene. That, and of course there's the Border Raid. Keep your head down up there and don't give the Cops too hard a time. They're bored too.

What do you think, guys? Bethany's Jeep was a little hard to start in the mornings. Was it time to change the spark plugs or did I just waste a ten dollar bill? The wire is .035 and is what the plugs should be gaped at. (Message edited by Ray_maines on October 30, 2004) |

I think next week we are going to replace the rotor, rotor cap, coil, and spark plug wires. Anything else we should do? Any advice?

Those plugs were wore out, Ray. Try a can of Regaine in the gas. Cleans the valves, injectors, etc. |

For those of you that are planning on going to the IMS show: Final Details Seattle IMS Show Dec 10, 11, 12th Qwest Field & Event Center Main Hall Seattle, WA 98134 206.381.7555 We are spending the night Sat night in Seattle. To make your reservations (be sure to do it early). Best Western Pioneer Square 77 Yesler Way Seattle, WA 98104 206.340.1234 (Hotel direct) 800.800.5514 (Chain reservation line) If you call direct ask for Kate. If she is not there be sure to ask for the Special Event Rates and mention the Inernational Motorcycle Show. We are planning a group dinner Sat night. I have made reservations for 20-25 people at 6 pm. I know some don't like the idea but any group larger than 8 must be on one tab. I am just sugesting that maybe we all might want to bring cash to make it less complicated. The restaurant is about 5 blocks away from the motel and last year Chris and I walked. It was cool out but since we had a few drinks it was safe. So bring some warm coats and maybe some gloves! Pyramid Alehouse 1201 1st Ave. South Seattle, WA 98134 206.682.3377 Here is a list of people I have so far that are going to stay at the motel and do dinner: Chris & Loni Jimmy, Erik, Harv Galen (motel?) Steve & Mary Deb & Bob Jimmy & Christy Next event after this will be in early Feb at our house to do breakfast and watch the Daytona race. Stay tuned for details! Anyone know the dates yet? Loni |

You can scrape the ash off the rotor & cap electrodes so you won't have to buy new ones. Do that before you buy a coil & wires. |

Loni, I am planning to go to IMS as well. Hell, I'm up there just about every weekend anyway! I have a place to stay, but I'd be supporting for dinner. Hopefully they'll have an 05 Sprint I can drool on in person at the show. It's calling my name. Well I have to give a big thumbs up for Cycle Gear's MotoGuard coverage for their tires. Came back from riding a couple of weeks ago to find a big phillips screw in my rear (tire). Having previously been instructed in proper tire changing by Mike, it was a breeze to rip that puppy off and bring it in. It still had a lot of life in it, so all told it was only $95 for a brand new 208, incl mount/balance, and new hazard coverage. Nice deal. (Message edited by greeneric on October 31, 2004) |

Hey, we finally got all of the Splash pictures digitized, but now my test web site is no longer available, SO, no place to put the pics. anyone have a little extra room some where for them so I can list here? I think it is something like 30meg or less when I weed out the bad ones. That means all of them with BOB or a Triumph....lol |

Loni, Count Duane and Lisa in also. Ther computer is on the blink and they wanted me to let you know. S-1, the power of the dark side will slowly wear you down and eventually take over your soul like it has so many others. I was once a nice young man myself with a nice wife trying to live the American Sport Bike dream. Yes it's true. Mike Wood (Infectous Bastard) led me to the Dark place and while weak with temptation I tasted the waters. Many others have seen the light by embracing the Darkness , Even Shotgun!! You can fight the Darkness but eventually it's light with draw you close. Think Triumph Bob |

I could deffinatly hurt myself on that thing... and love every minute of it... I'll stick with my S1 though. Sorry there may be newer and better bikes but its hard to match the mesh of form following function that the S1 is. |

If I buy a triumph, I hope someone kicks my azz!! I sold the CBR to get away from that sorta look. I wanted something that looks and sounds manly. Sure there are bikes with bigger HP, and what not, but I was looking for something more original in design, something when I come out of the honda shop, Harley shop, The mall, or where ever, I can get on knowing it is my bike and not one of the other 20 parket out side. For me, the Triumphs just dont cut it in this department, sorry guys. They look like a suzuki, or is it yamaha, well you get the point. |

I have often said that tube frame Buells are the 66 Mustangs of the motorcycle world. At last I have escaped from this Tijuana jail and made it back North of the border. |

S1 my advice for what little its worth is keep the Buell. Rebuild the engine if its got more than 20000 miles on it doing as much of the work as you are comfortable with. I would look towards a rebuild that will last with quality parts and not so much hotrod performance. If I could have only one bike I would keep my Buell X1. |

S1- Heck I feel sorry for you. While I wash and wax my bike this Winter you get to rebuild that original designed motor in that there tractor of yours. I'll stop a that before the Cecil comes out of me. Mike |
