Glitch are you going to meet at the dealership too? I'll have just enough time to get home get changed (monkey suit meeting day today) and leave for the Vortex. I hope traffic this evening is better than this morning. I hate traffic! Meetings at the Dealership? Has anyone asked the dealership what would be conveniant for them? Personally I would rather have it at Wing's Landing or some similar place. Don't have anything against the dealer, just not what I would call a good meeting place. |

I am up in the air for your muffler, I will need to check with Samantha before I commit to anything. Friday night might not be a bad Idea tho. That way we can ride to a local watering hole and drown out the work we just did. |

Good Idea Dave- Wings Landing would LOVE us to do it there. Dona has even talked to me about us having it there previously and said it would be cool with her. There is a woman's Motorcycle club that meets there every 4th Tuesday. We probably would want to do it on a Tuesday rather than Thursday if we meet at Wings Landing. It isn't as crowded as the Tex and we can actually get seperate bills. It's a straight shot for Travis and anyone coming from 85 it's pretty easy to get to as well 85 to 316 and bam you're there. As far as 'Official Business' I think that we have quite a bit to discuss. We are getting quite a few people participating in things and need to really start looking at this like the Chapter it is. I would like to get everyone on the same page as far as some of the riding basics. Hand Signals, Group riding and such. Everyone has done pretty good but I see that there are a lot of things that should be common knowledge that aren't. The other day on the way to the Tex a couple of us stuck our leg out and someone asked us why we did that- we did it to point to something in the road. I talked hand signals with someone the other day and they were like I didn't know that is what the ment. We should all be on the same page for this basic stuff. This makes riding together safer for everyone. I'm sure there are other things that need to be brought up too. Michael has had some ideas for things he wants to discuss and I'm sure other have things as well. So the sooner we can get together and start hashing stuff out the better. Oh yeah and how are we going to do the officer thing, It's the end of the year? HOG has the Assistant Director automatically become the director and then the other positions Assistant and Secretary and voted for. Are we going to have a changing of the Guard? (Not saying that we have to do it like HOG it was just a suggestion) (Message edited by along4theride on November 04, 2004) |

Hey guys. I should be at the Tex tonight but I will be coming from my place. There's no way I can make SMHD by 6:30. Heck, I'll be luck if I make to my house by 6:30. I should be down to the Tex about 7:30-ish. Is that cool. B_S, I will bring the Rear Hugger. I also have a couple of questions about the 3% group. I'd like to join up but there is really no way I can make it to the meetings during the week since I usually work until around 6:30. Not much I can do about that right now. Are the meetings mandatory? Also, are there any annual dues or anything or is it just the cost of the Brag membership. Thanks |

I need to assemble the Formula Buell Pit Crew sometime Friday night or Saturday morning before we leave for the dealer. Friday is probably best. That way we're not pressed for time on Saturday. We probably would want to do it on a Tuesday... Not on bike night. Too many potential distractions. Besides, Thursday (every Thursday) I have set aside for being out of the house. Scouts, Band, ect will make it hard for me to make it any other night. It should stay Thursday. how are we going to do the officer thing You want to vote someone out? You not happy with the present administration? Need a change from the old guard? Oh, I know, YOU want to run things! |

Is that cool. No problem at all. Are the meetings mandatory? No, but helping out with events and things are. Events are usually held on the weekends. Also, are there any annual dues or anything or is it just the cost of the Brag membership. For now all you need to be is a BRAG member, even that isn't set in stone. We're just a group of motorcyclists, not a big organization, we're in it for the community, support, friendship, and most of all The Ride. |

Oh, I know, YOU want to run things! Whatever- There isn't anything 'To run' Oh wait the BRAG bake sale can I be in charge can I, can I?? If that is the way you feel I guess I'll keep my mouth shut. Didn't realize I'd be stepping on toes by making suggestions or bringing up ideas Point taken and lesson learned Edited cuz 1/2 of what I said was erased and the other 1/2 wasn't?????? Whatever Oh lighten up. I thought my smilie would clue everyone in on sarcasm. I have no problem with officer movements at all. We're not like HOG where politics in the group are important. There are a few of us that were/are 3%ers long before there was a Bragging Rights Club. I just see no need to be a HOG chapter, if someone wants everything that goes with HOG, by all means join the HOG chapter. We are welcome there, I choose not to join, because HOG is less about The Ride, and more about who's who. All that of course is my humble opinion, and I welcome other's opinions. To remain a tight knit group of friends, we should agree on the direction of the club, therefore your opinion has been noted and appreciated. Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm not serious enough. Maybe ya'll need to vote in different officers. I dunno, I wasn't trying to start anything, sorry if I offend. I do not want this to turn into another Hooters like debate. |

A4TR, does your bike still hang at 2000rpm? If so, I think it's an easy fix. Your idle may be set a little too high. |

Is anyone in the Formula Buell Pit Crew gonna be at the dealer today? I have a K&N filter and a headlamp grill that needs to be picked up. |

I wonder if my new head lamp bulbs came in also. I ordered the extra bright ones Buell is offering. Xenon I think. I'm not going to make it to the dealer this afternoon. But if you're needing someone to pick them up for you, they can hand them off to me at the Vortex. |

Get in touch with Travis Stealth, they're his parts, and I be willin' t' bet he's got them paid in full. I on the other hand have not given dime one towards the headlamps, I'll just pick them up tomorrow. Stealth is probably trying to get everything together so he only has to ride to the house from Athens, rather than Athens, over to the dealer, then back over to my house. |

FYI, Sunday the 14th the Atlanta and Newnan Triumph RAT packs are doing a group ride up in the mountains. The usual meet at Toosies at 10am scenario. As it gets closer I'll post the meet-up time, but you guys are welcome to join us. |

Lightnindave... Everything is paid in full. Travis in parts knows whats up or Cameron can help you out. I would really appreciate it. Just give the stuff to Glitch at the Vortex for me. I owe you one! And in case you missed it, the 6th anniversary party for the dealer is this Saturday. It should be a good time and I would love for you to make it out on the beautiful S1. There is going to be a Dyno Drag machine where you race against others and see what kind of power your pony is pushing! |
