Good job! I think I counted 5 cars coming the other way. Really liked the camera bike shadows near the end.

How did you attached the camera to you and what kind of a camera was it.

Cool vid.
It's hard to be smooth when you know the camera is rolling, isn't it.
Looks like a great road.

A nice video to show people what owning a Buell is about, without scaring them too much~ (lean angle)

Also nice to watch on those cold, wet & snowy days

Probably not for beginners though. Would need one with the riders staying on their own side of the yellow line for them.

Apart from that a very nice job. Just glad nobody's had a video behind one of my runs. Would be interesting to watch, and yes I've used both sides of the yellow myself at times.

Very cool indeed.

My son is 18 months old and whenever he sees me with my helmet or hears me coming home on the bike he goes "broom broom broom broom!". Normally he never has patience to sit on my lap longer than 10 seconds. Just now he sat through the whole vid going "broom brooom!". He must have been impressed.

And so am I by the way.

A car every 5 minutes sounds like motorcycle heaven to me. I've got like 5 cars every second. Now I know what I can expect in august when I come over for my holiday.

Umm, after all the accidents occurring from crossing double yellows, I think the guy in front of the camera really needs to re-evaluate his riding.

Hwy 123 is one of the greatest roads I've ever ridden. Great video.

Sam, if you want to go faster next time, I'll let you ride my bike. It's blue.

Come on, amateur riding shouldn't be glorified as cool, good, or anything else. Learn to ride the road within your personal limits of safety AND stay on the correct side. That's the stuff that makes great riders. Any warm body can go out and ride fast if it's all over the road.
Thank you for the video though, I can use it to teach new riders what NOT to do.

I really enjoyed the video. AR 123 is one of my favorite rides and has some very challenging yet bike friendly sections (generous paved berms); other sections are without a paved shoulder, but still very very fun to ride.

I offer the following out of love and concern for my fellow riders and I hope it is received as intended:

If you choose to ride on public roads like the bikers in that video, you WILL end up in the hospital or worse.

If you want to die, ride like the guys in the video.

If you want to live, stick to the center left of the road; do not drift out to widen the entry to the apex; do not drift wide on the exit; stay just left of center in your lane.

You still get the fun lean angle. You still have a great time; you just go a little slower while leaving yourself a margin for error or room for obstacle avoidance.

If you find yourself crossing the double yellow unintentionally, it is time to slow down. It isn't a race; there is no prize and absolutely no glory. Let's all take a stand against that kind of extremely dangerous reckless riding. You want to ride like that, please take it to the track.

What really scares me is that it seems not many recognize the reckless nature of that style of riding.

Please, lose the ego, lose the competitiveness on the street. There is a pretty good reason why some moto racers refuse to ride on the street.

Intersting Video, why find a twisty road then cut the corners to straighten it out and go faster. The corners and bike lean angle are what the fun factor for me is in riding on public roads. It is possible to have more fun at a slower terminal velocity on the same road by trying to stay in the same section of your lane on your side of the road.

Sam,

You must be punished for these transgressions! You are hereby required to go back to Hwy 123 and keep doing it until you get it right. You'll need a wingman. Let me know, and I'll reluctantly accompany you on this quest for absolution.

No sacrifice too great for a friend like you.

Looked fun, thanks for taking the time to shoot it and edit it. Liked the music. I would be a lot of fun to get a group of Bullers together and carve that HWY123 up again some time - although I live closer to Jcmgroom than I do Shazam so it might not be any time soon.
