I have CRG Bar End mirrors on my S. I love them. I can see traffic behind me much better because my elbows are no longer in the way. The only negative is that everything is smaller than the original mirrors. You get used to it though. |

Nothing else at all. Pull em out of the package lube em up a little with some soapy water and slide em in. Rather erotic? Anyway...visibility is great and they have very little vibration. |

I think there's a good thread on this in the Knowledge Vault. For a larger bar end mirror, try the Napoleon style, for example: <http://www.motostrano-store.com/nabarendmi.html> ( A Google search turns up quite a few vendors, all within a couple dollars.) They run about $60/pair, which is more expensive than some of the others, but I absolutely love them on my XB12S. Nice, fairly wide view behind me, and very little vibration blur. I'm significantly mechanically challenged and had no trouble installing them. |
