It was ugly...but we'll take it! Heck, it was ugly on BOTH sides. The first 3 innings looked like the Sox had just were repeating game 7 with the Yanks. The next three belonged to the Cards and oh crap we've got here we go again! Thank goodness that Francona stuck to his guns with Belhorn. He's now contributed with 2 BIG home runs. Don't worry guys, there's a lot of baseball yet to play. I won't be gloating until the last game has been played and the Sox reverse the curse! |

We'll see, If it goes the same way as the NLCS with both teams winning home games only, how big a row is that going to start. The Cards under the old system would have started at home with the home field advantage for 4 games as the had the best record, but now the Sox get the advantage due to the all star game, call me picky but I think it's all arse backwards. |

Yeah your right it makes no sense for the Wild Card team no matter how good to get homefield advantage. |

"You know what? You suck! The crying resumes for me tonight. This will suck if St. Louis is forever remembered as the team that helped officially break some stupid curse |

As we've already seen, no lead is safe anymore! I will take a 2-0 lead though... GO SOX! |

Oh dear Oh dear, sadness is upon us. The Fat Lady is warming up & the Cards are playing their worst baseball all year. They don't deserve to win playing like that. In contrast the Sox aren't playing their best either but they're having fun & relishing it which makes all the difference, The stat's tell the story, Rolen, Edmonds & Sanders, collectively 1 for 31 & that was a bunt single in game 1. I've been getting up at 1 or 2 in the morning to watch live but I think I might tape it tonight, as barring a Sox type comeback it's all over bar the shouting. |

your right I am ashamed to say I root for that team. It looks like a Little League game when the Cards are playing. No one can get even a semi Clutch hit. Our pitching has been the worst it has been all year. Don't get me started on last nights baserunning PAN. Yeah I hate to say it but at the moment Boston deserves this more than the Cards. I am not really even mad we are losing because we don't deserve to win with play like that. The big guns all picked a great time to go into a collective slump. The fact that we couldn't win games where the opposition commited 4 errors shows just how bad our play is. It makes me sick to see the Sox play that bad and still win. I swear I don't recognize this team right now. On the bright side we are one of only two teams left but losing still sucks. |

Sox didn't play like World Series Champs but in this series the D-backs could have beat the Cardinals. Oh well there is always going to be another chance. |

I can gloat now! The Sox did what it took in the first two and looked like the World Series Champs they are in the last two. Can you f***in' believe it? The Red Sox just won the World Series! Sorry to you Cardinal fans...they just couldn't fight destiny! |

The only Cardinal who really played well was Larry Walker & he couldn't do it all on his own. Ah well look on the bright side, at least we don't have to suffer any more embarrassment this year. |
