Did some research in the vault, but difficult to find my answer. The Firebolt seat is not good. After an hour, my arse goes right through the padding to the seat tray, which also makes the suspension seam harsh. The corbin looks comfy, BUT the Firebolt needs a lot of body english to get it around the turns. Prior corbins I've had were square edged on the side and would be a hinderance to this riding style. The XBr corbin looks this way from the photo. Any input/suggestions?

Buell has a seat.
Shred had it and he liked it. He did say though that after around 25thousand on the bike the seat started compressing sooner and sooner.

I use the Buell custom seat. 1500 miles in four days & did just fine. Took me a while to get used to it as its smoother and flatter but now I wouldn't trade it for another.

I have the Buell custom on my 9R. I prefer the stocker for serious corner carving, because the custom puts you up higher, but it is a vast improvement in comfort.

I just ordered the custom seat too. Glad to hear some of you have good things to say about it. I wasn't aware that Corbin had finally made a seat.

Just looked at the Corbin model. For the dough, I think I will stick with the Buell brand.

I believe Al at American Sport Bike is still trying to track down a donor for Corbin to make seats for the Firebolt models.

The Corbin's been out for a just a very short while, jury is still out. No plan to make a pillion just yet, but if they get enough requests, they will. The seat on an XB-R is a lot like the seat on an SV650. My wife's SV has the corbin seat, I like it, lots. I've got one on order, haven't received it yet.

Corbin will sculpt the seat the way you want it. If you want a less defined edge, no problem. You won't squish thru to the seat pan, and the underlying seat pan is already more ergonomically shaped than the stock pan. I tell you, the Corbin XBS seat kicks butt on the Buell seat (any of them).

Daves, don't mention it. It was a pleasure speaking with you. I'm seriously considering the pucks.
