Well, If it makes you feel any better Keith, I took "probably" my last run of the year down in Arkansas yesterday....... The guy following me yesterday had cameras all over his bike..... Will make for good viewing....or evidence! I will try and link it up here when I get it. That place is amazing. I am still amazed we all made it back in one piece..... I just found out that I have to work Saturday night and can't come to see Faster, man I was really wanting to get to see it with you crazy guys. I just spent a week in Dallas attending corporate training seminar, only saw two Buells on the street while I was there, XB9 and a tuber. I am working at Dick's Sporting Goods Zona Rosa hunting/firearms/fishing/camping gear on the weekends part time through Christmas. If you get a chance come in and check out some of the cool stuff we got in stock. Lots of great cold weather gear and a big gun & ammo sale going on this week fro deer season. | ||

I had to create my own account then when I tried to open the file to play it, it gave me an error downloading the file every time windows tried to play it. I finally just downloaded it to my pc and I can play it. You can call me 492-8203. (Message edited by s2scott on October 27, 2004) | ||

They said a rod bearing spun (I think) and then tore everything up inside. It took a little while for the extended warranty rep. to take a look at to okay them to fix it. I was a little on worried for a few days, but everything should be okay soon. | ||

There's an open trackday at Mid-America Motorplex on Sat. $50, no sign up, run whatcha brung. Me and a few friends will be thrashing all day if any of you are looking for a ride destination or something to do.... They will alternately be running cars, bikes, and go-karts.... so it should be a mad house. I race-prepped the bike last night and decided to try out the Freespirits high speed pulley set I bought some time ago. up a coupla teeth in the front and down a couple in the back(I don't remember the exact ratio change) I was going to wait and put these on the big motor, but I thought this might be a good time to see what the actual change is. I will let you know what I feel.... The tread near the sidewalls on my trackday tires are looking thin, I hope they make it through the day. Man, I can't wait! I am still going to be back in time for the viewing of "Faster" on Scott's JUMBO-TRON, barring any unforseen mishaps, so If anybody wants to tag along I have room (bike too!) I am meeting the other guys at the K-mart parking lot at 87th and 435 on the Southwest side of KC at 5:30 Sat morn. Give me a call if interested 913-244-4195 |
