Last night on the show "cold case" on CBS, their was a quick seen showing A girl getting onto the back of a black xb9s, putting her arms around the cool cat driving it, and pulling away from the parking spot... |

How did it sound. I remember a show that was on briefly last year where one of the lead characters drove an xb9r. Funny thing is they overdubbed it with a jap bike exhaust. Awful! |

sounded like it had the stock exhaust. It was the XB for sure. I know what you mean about dubbing motor sounds. I hear it all the time on shows and movies. The movie "Bullitt" with Steve Mcqueen. during the chase scene his 67 mustang all of a sudden had the race engine of a "GT40" double clutching no less.. |

THey must have sponsorship and the director loves Buells. We have Cold Case here in Oz and on the episode where the Grandson killed and buried his Grandma in the basement there was an XB9R parked on the lawn in front of the house. It was good to see a Buell on TV, I am always suprised not to see more especially in the American made movies when they want to show something a little different and instead they show Ducati's or something. |

There was a commercial for Volvo (I think) where the car has to swerve to miss a bike. Not a good image for bikers, but the bike was an M2 Cyclone. |

I know what you mean about soundtracks. As a Blackhawk pilot it really irritates me when a Huey or Bell jet Ranger is dubbed over the beautiful sound of FREEDOM!! Odie |

That brought back a cool memory Odie, when I worked for GE Aircraft engines, I would occasionally go to the GE Peebles OH test facility. They had a sign by the front guard shack... "The sounds you hear are the sounds of freedom!". My desk, for about 4 years, was 1 floor and about 100 feet from the test cells where they would be running jet engines all day long. I heard all sorts of freedom Not uncomfortable, but it made me sleepy. |
