That is a whole lot of Yellow You got going On. As long as you Like it. That is what counts...I would lose the belt guards, and get the rear seat cowl from American Sport Bike, and paint it. |

You need to take the passenger pegs off. The bike would look way better without them. You also need to take the reflectors off the fork and do some trimming on the tail. I kind of like your yellow guard. Buell bikes don't have much color and that addition works nice. Oh yeah and you need some black wheels. |

Yellow is not my think but looks good and I haven't seen that mod before. Unique! What did you do on the seat? For sure, loose the passenger pegs unless they are being used. Gschuette is right....black rims! |

On the seat I just used some Yellow vinyl. If I took the passenger pegs off I would be single and broke, thats if I lived.Maybe I will paint them black, and the wheels will be getting done in black soon |

The only reason mine are off is because my wife doesn't like to ride. |

Take the sticker off the swing arm too! All in all, I think it looks good. Do what I did, buy your wife or girlfriend her own bike and lose the rear pegs. |

You could swap out the rear passenger supports & pegs with ones from a 12 (dark grey) to minimize their appearance. |

Seeing as you ask, bloody awful! I always thought the purpose of Buell was to be minimalistic. The yellow belt guard makes that XB S look rear end heavy. Junk the full guard and those rear pegs and she'd look 50 times better. Rocket |

Pipes are not all that hard to return back to their original silver stainless color. A metal/stainless steel polish and some brisk rubbing will bring back the luster. After a couple of cleanings they won't turn dark again, just light gold. Each polishing becomes quicker and easier. |

I'm not a fan of the rear belt guards either, but that's a personal taste thing. Sort of how some people say XB's are ugly, but what do they know! I like the front sprocket thing you've got going. Maybe rub down the muffler with WD-40 soaked rag to protect it from corrosion and bring back the black shine. You might smell it burn off, but I rarely did. |

Looks different, but isn't that what it is all about? The Buell's are not "cookie cutter bikes", as my dealer once said, and now your's stands out in a crowd of yellow XB's. I say nice job. And about the rear pegs, If momma isn't happy, no one is happy! I plan on pwder coating mine black, kinda give it the gone look. |

I like that. The only thing I would do differently is remove the belt guard. If you don't like that idea, then get the 2004 style belt guards instead. I think they would look much better either black or yellow. Mike. |

Take some good metal polish and a dish scrubber (one with the rough green scrubbing material) and polish those pipes! They'll come back silver, then fade to bronze after a ride or two. |
