Sorry fellas, no tex for me. My bike is in the air with no rear tire or muffler at this point. I will be riding Sunday come hell or high water! Where and when do we want to meet on Sunday? I am open to meeting anywhere so lets get some ideas together. |

my house in Norcross is an option. It is only 4 miles to 400 down Holcomb Bridge. The earlier the better for me 7:00/7:30? (Message edited by black_sunshine on October 21, 2004) |

Silverbullet: Thanks for the 3% decal. Could I swap out for a black one? (I got the gray.) Ride Sunday - I hope to be in on the ride Sunday. For now it looks good for me. B_S your place is fine with me. (Message edited by Fran_Dog on October 21, 2004) |

B_S, Could I talk you into making a carbon fiber timing cover? Just a disk with holes for the rivets. I have mine off the bike in case you need it to go by. SilverBullet, could I have another black decal? The one you gave looks extra good on the carbon fiber flyscreen, I want to use one on the timing cover if B_S can help me out. If ya'll do this for me I'll make sure your good deeds will not go unpunished. Please

Stealth and I went to see Pete. He's doing pretty good by the way. Still a long way to go, but he's a strong boy. We rode down Peachtree street through the middle of downtown Atlanta. He said it sounded sweet. Fran_dog, and SilverBullet were the only other Buellers there last night, truly a thin crowd. Looks like it's getting close to the end of the summer crowds. They said it sounded great. More people are going to ride Sunday, we'll see how they like the sound. Kind of disappointing about the crowd thinning out... |

Glitch....I will grant your wishes under one condition. You help me remove my wheels when I am ready to apply new tires. I don't have proper tools. I assume that I could keep my pony at your little house while we do it. Bring the timing cover with you on sunday and I will do it next week. I would of been at the Tex but had to work! Sbullet...I hope you saved a sticker for moi? Odie....can you get away for a mountain ride with some 3%ers on Sunday? (Message edited by black_sunshine on October 22, 2004) |

Yea, it's starting to cool off down here as well. It doesn't stop me though! As long as it's above 32 degrees I'm riding. Steve and I and a friend on an RC51 went for a good but too short ride yesterday tearing up what few twisties we have down here. Had a good time. Wish I could hit the mountains with you guys though. Soon, very soon. Probably spring time we'll come up for a ride. If we head north for Christmas this year I'll let you know when we're coming thru and maybe we can hook up for lunch or something. I'd like to stop by SMHD for a look-see. Travis' pipe will be here monday so I will get started on that for him and get it right back out so he can ride it as much as possible before it gets too cold. Good to hear Pete is doing well. I sideswiped a guardrail on my Interceptor back in '85 and was down for a while and it sucked. Broke foot, broke ankle, ripped off a few toenails. Wasn't fun. I even had military boots on at the time and it ripped the toe right off of them. Ya'll have a good ride sunday and be carefull.....Take care....Odie |

B_S, if I could I truly would be there but I have to work sunday night. I have fridays and saturdays off. I would LOVE to come up and ride the mountains with you guys. Spring time for sure. Maybe even this fall if things work out right and the weather doesn't get too cold too soon. Kitchen passes are hard to come by sometimes. If I could talk her into going and let her and the kids go shopping for the day that would work out fine. I'll have to see, plus it would have to fit into ya'lls schedules too. I'm trying hard to get up there to meet you guys and do some good riding though, trust me.....Later...... Odie |

B_S Getting your wheels off is no sweat, I got my rear off in 10 min. Anyway, looking forward to sunday, B_S your house is fine with me, 7:00-7:30ish? Well I am sore as hell today, I took the four wheeler for a ride yesterday and got taught another lesson in respect. Long story short the bike flipped four times while I was sailing through the air, hit the ground and tumbled for about 20 feet. The bike just got away from me and I let go and went limp. No major injuries just a little sore and ego broken. These are lessons I do need to learn so I feel very lucky to not have broken anything. It is nice to hear Pete is doing well, I know all the prayers are helping. I do wish him well. |

Odie, Firefox is all I use. Mozilla is just as good, just a little bit more than I need. Firefox is a browser only, Mozilla is a suite, it has a browser, e-mail client, and a webpage editor, both kill Micro$oft's IE without question. |

I don't think you can uninstall IE without hacking up windows. You can however delete the icons, that's what I did. Just right click and choose delete, you'll get a message about add/remove programs, and if you want to delete the shortcut, just click yes and all's good. |
