Has anyone fitted an oil temp gauge to their XB? If yes...how did you do it? |

I have a temp sticker on my oil tank that gives the max temp the tank has reached |

should be very doable -- get a spare oil tank cap, and turn it into an adaptor for the sending unit |

I was thinking something could be mounted on the line that goes to the oil cooler. That would probably give an accurate temp reading. There must be and add-on Harley part out there... |

I have seen at my harley dealer a chrome plug that goes in as the dipstick but also has a temperature gauge built into it. You push the button and it gives you a reading. Its for harleys but I'm sure you could rig it for the buell with all the knowledge on this board. |
