To all, Just wanted to let everybody know that I found the way to go if you want your xb to sound bad with only a 3/8 drill bit... I took some advise from a xb'er telling me about drilling some holes in the stock exhaust and did it and wow... You would not believe the diff. sound... Awesome... Look down the XBorad and I asked about some suggestions on exhaust mods. Ther is a diagram showing where to drill the holes... If you want a awesome sound for a $1.00 do it... I am saying thanks to the one who thought og=f this... Peace out and make it loud... TBONE}} |

When I did mine as prescribed, it sounded like a datto 120B with rusted tail pipe. Yuck. Get a decent muffler and you'll wonder what the hell you were thinking. |

Hey trenchtractor, You must have drilled the holes in the wrong place... And it sounded like a 1900 tractor with straight exhaust... Lets put it like this, compared to the stock sound mine sounds bad for the price of a $1 drill bit which was actually free from work... If I had the $ like alot of the rich and famous I would get a real system but unfourtently I am one of those poor guys that does not have $1000.00 to spend on exhaust... Child support comes first but thanks anyways... |

Guys, please don't forget that you may be loosing power just to gain noise. If power loss doesn't matter to you, then drill away and enjoy the sound! |

unfourtently I am one of those poor guys that does not have $1000.00 to spend on exhaust... But you did manage to pick up a $10k bike... BTW, everyone who has heard or bought a Drummer loves 'em. And nowhere close to $1000... |

On a 9 and a 12 BTW... The 12 sounded a good deal better IMO, but the 9 sounded very nice too. |

I may have a Drummer up on eBay soon. No trade in required. No, I'm not giving up the one on my bike! |
