SAM, YOU THE MAN! Got the Ralph Waynes shop jacket you sent today! Fits perfect! This is much better than I envisioned when you said you had something you were sending to me! I figured I was doomed with some "baby" related item you were sending to put the pressure one me with Heather. Did I mention, You the man? Keith |

Hey guys I have a couple of big screen TVs let me talk with the wife and see if we can have a showing here. The 40 inch we could move to the garage or leave it in the rec room and show it there but the 60 inch is to big to move from the front room. |

Allright Scotty-oooo. Call me if she needs convincing. no, wait, call Dennis. no, wait, oh heck, you can handle her. We might have 2 copies of the DVD so no need to argue about the size of the screen. Where's Sam? |

I saw the date of the Faster movie night... and I almost PANICKED!!!!! I thought it was going to be Halloween night! After looking at a calendar... I realized it was the night before Halloween. WHAT A RELIEF! I have a tradition every Halloween that I have done for most of my adult life. I look forward to the night and love the concept of the commercialized “holiday”... with the costumes, and of course candy! The only way the “holiday” could be better, would be by making it acceptable for beer to be handed out. NO... not to give to the kids... they have to get their own beer... but for the adults. What could be more fun than dressing up in some costume... getting faced drunk... and terrorizing kids and stealing their candy??? Actually that is what I do... but I have to buy the beer! It does get annoying with the little cretins coming up to my house and begging for candy... and after the first 3 or four times I open the door... scream... and chase the kids out of my yard with a machete... it gets boring and predictable. Some parent knocks on my door with a crying child... I open the door... scream... and chase the parent out of my yard with a machete. The police arrive... ask a few questions... and I advise them it is the wrong house... it is my neighbor who did such a thing... and I watch my neighbor hauled off to jail. All and all a very entertaining night! I sometimes don’t get into the spirit of the holiday... and just stake the first kid that come to my door out in the front yard... but after a couple of hours... they usually stop sobbing and screaming... and I have to find a different kid...after 3 or 4 kids... the evening visitation in the neighbor hood has slowed down a bit... and I cut them free... assuming they have not chewed through the ropes by then. I still get the visit from the police the years I do this... but once again... I tell them about my “strange” neighbor... how animals in the neighborhood disappear through out the year... how I see him wearing a black robe with a big pentagram on the back carrying animal hides into his garage... and how I saw him stake the kids out in my front yard... and was just about to call the police... after seeing this when returning from a child charity event. I then watch the SWAT team make entry... and haul my neighbor off to jail. For some reason my neighbors move out shortly after Halloween each year! I really enjoy the holiday... I am SOOOOO glad the movie night does not interfere with my annual tradition. Oh yeah... I almost forgot... TOGA... TOGA... TOGA... |

Just my .2 cents here but I suggest a better place for the meeting. It's not worth my drive in gas in the truck at $2.00 a gallon to drive 45 minutes away from home and back for the meeting. granted I could ride the bike but I am not riding in the cold and wet for that long of a ride just because. Normal weather sure thats fine. But when the really crappy weather hits I will not be driving distances anywhere near that far for our meeting. My apologies. I am not trying to be an a-hole here just the way I feel. I am not a huge fan of mexican food and traveling all the way out to almost central HD from independence is way too far to just sit and not eat dinner and BS for an hour or so, and then drive home. No thanks. Don't take this the wrong way but I am just not into it. The group as a whole has been in a major decline this year. We haven't hardly done anything as a group. No major trips were taken. Bike nights are a joke these days. Hardly anyone is ever riding. Business' started, families created, bikes being sold. Its just taken a toll on the KC Mob. Then of course there is the whole drama things going on with different people within the group. Its just really zapped my enthusiasm. I am not pointing fingers here I realise people have lives outside the group. I myself am just as much to blame as anyone else. I too have been busy with other things. The holidays are coming up winter is almost here and I am just out of time. No finger pointing, no need for explanations people have lives and things to do. I just personally have been feeling this way for a while and figured I might as well just vent it out. No responses even needed. This is just how I feel and felt it might be better to get it out. I think I will be taking a break for a while.. |
