Well I bought the Keith Code book "Twist Of The Wrist" tonight on the way to work. So far, I am finding it quite informative. I can see where we can apply a lot of the methods to street riding. When I finish it up I'll be willing to pass it around the group.  | |||

I should get the bike today. What a total fiasco! I called yesterday morning and they didn't have any record of it in the system. I drove up there after waiting for a promised return phone call that never came and found out that they had just started the work. I'll have it today. I'm not happy right now but we'll see how things go when I get it back. They made some excuse about guys being sick and what not. Basically, they dropped the ball in my opinion. I'm willing to give them one more chance next service, then I'll do what I can on my own if they screw up. I'm going to see if I can get some compensation from them but I'm not counting on much. | |||

Ok. Now I'm mad. I go over to Las Vegas Harley yesterday and they say the bike should be done today. I go over at 1 this afternoon, and now they say noon tomorrow! I told them yesterday that they've had the bike long enough and I need it today! Well, they said they'd do their best to get it to me by tonight. I'm not counting on it. I understand they're busy over there but they've had the bike for 5 days to do a job that should take no more than 2 or 3 hours. Its coming up on 4:30 now. If they don't call me within an hour I'll probably not be going tonight. Right now I'm thinking Las Vegas Harley just lost a customer. I'm more willing to buy a trailer and haul it down to Phoenix than to deal with this again. | |||

Hey guys! It was great to see everyone last night. I still haven't heard anything from Dawn today. I am going to call her later and let her know that we will be dropping in on Saturday morning. Ok just got done talking to the wife about Sat. 9:30am is the time. I hope everybody can make it. I am sorry that it could not be 10:30 like we talked about. A lot of things going on in my life all of sudden. If 9:30 is to early for you all let me know and I will see what I can do. It was great meeting last night. It gave us some direction to go in. I know I came away really excited and very optomistic(sp) about the club. I would like to thank you all for the input you all provided. Any more suggestions would greatly be welcome. | |||

Let me see if I can put this lightly fellas. On this dark, rainy fall day, I just can't seem to find the words to express what I have to say to you all... WE GOT IT!!! Southern Nevada Harley signed the paperwork today!! We will officially be a Brag group! Now, to be sure I didn't screw things up... we voted on Southern Nevada Braggers... right? And.. in Brag terms.. Jake is now "Director" I am "co Director" and Owen old buddy.. you will be the treasurer. (If that isn't cool, we can change it, but they needed someone in that spot) Secretary, ride captains, and Sgt. will remain the same. We have a package on the way with all the Brag by-laws, instructions, etc! ALSO: Mark your calendars! We have already been asked to participate in an event: Super Moto, Nov 13th at Bally's. Dawn suggested that we do a group ride, from Henderson Harley that day. Any takers/opposition? And: She mentioned that the dealer may help set up a website/message board for us!!
