Three couples went to see a minister about becoming new members of his church. The minister said they would first have to go without sex for two weeks and then come back and tell him how it went. Two weeks passed and the couples returned to the minister. The retired couple said it was no problem at all. The middle-aged couple said it was tough for the first week, but after that it was no problem. The newlyweds said it was fine until she dropped the can of paint. "A can of paint?" asked the minister. "Yeah," said the newlywed man. "She dropped the can and when she bent over to pick it up, I had to have her right there and then. Lust took over." The minister shook his head and said, "I'm sorry, but you are not welcome in this church." "That's OK," said the man. "We're not welcome in Home Depot either." |

COOL! They backed it up. A new record! From landracing.com Team Elves with Buell running MPS/PF 1650cc class went 205 mph yesterday had a return of 206 mph and will put Tim Horton in the 200 mph club. |

Just out of interest I wonder how much faster they might have gone with an experienced 200 MPH Club rider like Richard Nallin on board. Rocket |

Rocket, not entirely sure what your point is but I believe Timbo has more LSR passes than Richard and before last year Richard didn't have a pass over 200 either. I'd let either one ride my bike as fast as they wanted. |

As someone's who seen all the above parties in action at Bonneville,..... Timbo is the best qualified rider for Aaron's bike. We should all know by now that AW makes well informed thought out choices. He has made the right decision again..... imho JimS LSR 504/506 |

Jim: You are right. Not surprising given you own qualifications. I take nothing away from the fine performance that Richard Nallin provided TEAM ELVES with. I am proud of ALL the good that ALL team members have done. That ends the history discussion. Now....(cue squiggly thingy) CONGRATULATIONS TO TIMBO HORTON AND AARON WILSON This is incredible news and, yes, it has been announced at Buell. What a GREAT WAY to end Friday afternoon...watching City Crossers leave in record numbers from the East door and get wind of Buell owners breaking records. Good work TEAM! |

Speaking of history - if it repeats itself, now that Timbo is in the 200 club, are they gonna reeeallly turn up the juice and see how fast it'll go? Congrats Aaron and Timbo. |

I broke, couldn't get the job done. Perfect salt, bad engine. Three step racing failed to perform. On the good side, it was fun to see a bunch of old friends, and meet some new ones, (never met an Elf I didn't like.) We had dinner with Dennis (BUB) and heard some fascinating stories. Great event, even if my engine let me down. My best was 189+ against a 191+ record. Shame. |

Blake, ol buddy, you're going to have to eat a gob lot of salmon to finance my bike for next year. I have gone mad dog and will be doing a turbo and fuel of some sort. Losing just makes me mad, doesn't discourage me. I'm done with unblown gas engines. |

Paul, 189mph is nothing to be ashamed of at all. Did you ever consider having Timbo make a run on your bike to see if he could better your speed? |

R1Dyno, Tim was plenty busy (and doing it right) with Arron's bikes. My riding is fine, it's my tuning/wrenching that sucks. I finished the engine two weeks before the event, blew a tire half way through the dyno session, and left for Bonneville with lots of 'ifs', and came home with a broken bike. I never felt like the bike was performing like it should, and won't know until I tear it down what failed, (probably left a shop rag in a thrott. body.) Riding is the easy part, making them run is complicated. |

Congratulations Aaron and Timbo. And congratulations Snail: You passed 300 Kilometer/Hour. 189 Miles/H = 304 KM/H and that`s bloody fast. Me is told that speeds above 260 km/h are not fun any more: Just scaring. Well done. Hans |

More congrats to Aaron and Timbo! Another record.... From Landracing.com Tim Horton was able to backup the run in the 2000cc MPS-PF 2000cc class Team Elves Buell entry that went down at 200 mph in the first mile and came back at 188 mph but hurt motor in the first mile but was enough to get the Wink Ellar record that is at 180.1 mph. ----------------------------------- This is also very cool. TOM BURKLAND RETURN PASS 2 1/4 - 311 mph 3 - 331 mph 4 - 378 mph 5 - 415 mph exit speed - 430 mph NEW RECORD OF 417.020 MPH which eclipsed the Nolan White record of 413 mph. |
