I may-stress MAY-be looking at moving there. I'm sure the season there is extended compared to WDC.

Anyway, I have questions re: the area.

Fbolt - It would be great to have you!

Let me see what I can tell you about Raleigh. I enjoy living here. You might find it a bit boring after living in WDC, but you might find the change of pace quite refreshing. Housing is MUCH cheaper and traffic is better as well. I don't know if you have kids, but the schools here are excellent.

The Raleigh HD dealer that I use is Ray Price. I like them a lot. I belive the HD dealer in Durham is Sheltons. I do not have any personal experience with them, but I have heard they have good Buell support.

Fbolt-come on down
I don't live in Raleigh, but close enough. Like Jinance said traffic is alot better. You will also be closer to alot of biker related events. North Carolina has a tradition in motorcycling, and lots of great hills within 30-45 minutes of Raleigh. Good luck with the move.
