On another note, we had a good meeting last night !! Started with a drawing for some T-shirts, Kinger and I believe David won one each. We had chips, pretzels and pops as usual. We had another new guy who will be joining Dan, and Mackay along with his wife who will be joining were there too, she has a Blast. Jerry was there and his wife came by to show off their new 3 month old daughter Rachel, and of course sit her on a Buell, she was cute !! Caralee, David, Ron, me and Kinger were all there. Kinger brought his little cutie pie Grace, his 3 year old daughter also. I honestly tried to take her home, but he caught me before I got her to the car. We were watching the video of some of the TWT Speedvision with Mike Ciccotto, and she really like that, had lots of comments to make about the big jumps and how "those guys had to be careful on the bikes when they tipped them" in the curves !! We are hopefully planning on meeting at Hal's at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday for a ride if it's not wet or the weather isn't too bad. We discussed the website and Mackay along with Eric will now be getting that going, and sounds like it's going to be good ! We discussed next's month's meeting Thursday Nov 11th, which will be in the speed shop and Hal's will have Sr. Luna's (mexican food) catered, but we need a real head count of who will be present for that ???? We will be making the nominations for next year at that meeting also. We also discussed the Christmas party, which will be downtown Milwaukee at Joey Buono's (sp?) Sat Sep 18 !! We are going to meet at the bar around 6:30 or so and reservations will be at 7:00. We will be voting for Director, Assist Director, Secretary and Treasurer at the party, and yes if you don't show up for those meetings it's very likely you'll be voted in !! Discussed Hal's winterization for your bike, around $250 I believe, and that's a neat thing, not really that bad if you need a place to keep your bike and have it taken care of !! Sorry for the long post guys, but I brought paper this time !!! CJ |

MacKay: (that is a family name on my mothers side, cousin?), I told Dull to contact you. He was surprised that you were trying to get a hold of him. He received no emails. I will keep on him to contact. He is also aware that he has been neglecting his duties. His position is up for grabs. |

CJ, Nice report. Watching the TWT episode was a fun thing to do as a club. Steve, Take the ball and run with the website. As for the logo, you need to get a hold of Ken Koszewa (Koz5150). He did all of the design work for the patch. I am pretty sure that he would be able to provide you with an electronic copy. We may need to tweek it a little bit to get the BRAG logo larger to meet requirements. Overall a good meeting last night. It was good to have a few new faces to join us. Hopefully we can have a very active riding season next year. I know I am looking forward to doing a trackday!! |

Uh..(raising hand)...did you say "Mexican Food"? It occurs to me that it was on 11-11 I was sucking down beans and kringle. Keep me posted. I'm not huge into travel, but the introduction of Mexican Food changes everything! Great to see such a turn out and participation! Court |

As for the logo, you need to get a hold of Ken Koszewa (Koz5150). Good advice, I'm sure his e-mail is in his profile and he's a nice guy too, get in touch with him Mackay !! Keep me posted. We'll do it, my vote was not for Mexican it's November so I thought Turkey would be nice (Pizza and beer a close second), lucky for you I was unanimously outvoted !! CJ |

I've got a favor to ask for tomorow... Anybody got a med sized helmet? We've got a family member in for the weekend, an extra bike, but not an extra helmet... So, anyone got an extra medium helmet we can borrow tomorow for the ride? |

Nope CJ went. She was a trooper It was a little chilly near the end of the ride. But Dave picked some of the best roads around. We told him to keep a copy of the route he planned out so we can go on it again come warm weather... |

Was more than a "little" chilly as I got close to home, was so cold it was hard to clutch !! But I'm glad I didn't wimp out, it was an excellent route David had mapped out !! If that's my last ride of the season, it sure was a good one !! Good to see Dan, our newest member come along to ride !! Mackay, glad to meet all your crew you brought along, nice folks !! We had about 10 or 11 bikes, and it was a really neat ride everyone else missed !! CJ |

Way to tough it out CJ! Ya gotta ride when ya can and I consider this training for my annual Turkey Day breakfast ride. It sure tests the apparel for whats good and whats not for cold weather riding. Hey how does it feel to have 2 XB's in the garage tonite? Now you can pick a diferent ride for every other ride like Steve mackay! Ya gotta get some electric gear its the "hot" thing! |

Coolice, Well, My brother bought an XB9R cheap we're going to go pick it up next weekend(it's in Alabama). And I want an XB12S. May pick one of those up during the winter months, when they go cheap I wont be satisfied till we have a collection of every Buell sold I was really proud of the wife though. This was her 2nd ride on the street(she's had lots of parking lot training), and she did most excellent. here's a pic of the group meeting at Hals. Here's a pic at a stop in Eagle. And here's the end of the ride.

My gear is over a decade old. I really need to get down to one job so I can go on these rides. On a side note: I passed my Pys. Agil test for Elm Grove/Brookfield/New Berlin, barley. I am so out of shape, really sore. Waiting for a letter for first interview. |

Hey how does it feel to have 2 XB's in the garage tonite? Pretty cool, but unfortunately I only have the key to one, good for fiery I guess !! LOL I would like to get some warm elect gear, so maybe you'll go with me and fiery sometime, help me pick out the right stuff !!?? Toni did do REAL good, better than me actually in those sharp/tight turns, I would have NEVER guessed it was only her 2nd time on the road !! And fiery was right up front too, but I moved to the back since I pretty much SUCK at those sharp curves ! Had a Blast anyway and sure glad we all went !! CJ |
