Our latest addition to the XB9 & 12S carbon fibre range is this absolutely stunning new Ilmberger tail unit in pre-preg carbon fibre. The quality just has to be seen to be believed and this uses the stock tail and licence plate lamps so is a simple bolt on job. Priced at £199 in the UK.

That has got to be the best looking tail for the S I've seen yet! My list just keeps getting longer. |

Wow! What is that, like $350 USD right now? It would be neat to see that on a bike. |

I did, still a lot of deep curves. Nice work. Worth the price just knowing this one isn't one you could replicate easily. Like the over priced carbon fiber heal guards. I'm seriously looking into buying this. Unless of course you figure it out |

It sounds like I am in the minority, but I think it looks funny. I'd like to see a picture of it installed. |

It doesn't show too well in the photo, but this is around 4" shorter than the stock tail piece. I'll try to get around to fitting it to our bike in the next day or so.

To me, the piece you show in your first post doesn't look to be the same as the piece you show installed on the bike above. Am I missing something? |

from the postings above it looks like matt (trojan) hasnt fitted the new tailpiece to that bike that....from the pictures he posted it looks like the original tailpiece which includes the teastrainer....but done in carbon,so im assuming its the same dimensions??...to my mind the chopped rear end looks so much better |

I think the carbon tail looks shorter than the stock unit. What tail is on the bike that you posted? More detail on that one? |

Sorry, the bike pictured hasn't got the new tail unit fitted yet. This shows one of the other kits that we can provide. The new tail piece is similar in design to the stock one but is 4" shorter.

Yes, this one is nice. I haven't taken off my rice strainer because I didn't want road spray up and down my back. Looks like this one is long enough to help reduce road spray. Great job! |
