It looks like carbon fiber add ons are the thing on these bikes. What have you guys put on your bikes or what's on your wish list. I'm thinking of starting on on mine with the belt guards but not sure how much to put on after that. |

everything, look at the sponsored sites (the ads at the top and bottom of these pages) they have some pretty interesting stuff, although 60 percent of the cool stuff is made overseas |

Well, if money was no object, a set of carbon fiber wheels would be pretty cool, and shave off a few pounds to boot! |

actually fuzznutz, if im not mistaken, the buell rim is the lightest of all the bikes (i think) and one of the strongest... |

I'm thinking of treating it like chrome on a cruiser. Belt guards, air scoops, rear fender etc, but not the major body work. I'm not sure if you would save a whole lot of weight replacing the current plastic production pieces with carbon fiber. I would do better hitting the gym more often and telling my sweet tooth no more often. |

I replaced everything on my XB9S that wast Black plastic. Excluding the serlyn bodywork. I kept it black. I was unhappy with the prices of these parts so I made them myself. Only thing left is the rear hugger. I plan to do that on my next tire change.

Black_Sushine made my flyscreen. Next I want a front fender, not sure if I want the race one, or the one that looks like stock. I really like that tail piece, wonder if I can get a prosthetic

Yeap...I think the large right side air scoop is a cool add on. It would have to help pull more air in for cooling too. |

Black_Sunshine is in the business of making replacement parts. Carbon fiber parts are also part of what he does. The thing is, the parts he replaces are human parts. He did his bike, and my fly screen (thanks again B_S) but know of no other parts he's made. But who knows, ya may wanna send him a private message if you're requesting something specific. |

Whitetrashxb...have only made parts for my bike and a few friends. I'm really a rookie when it comes to bike parts. I'm using my stock parts as molds and replacing them with CF. Human is my specialty. Get your mind out of the gutter I DON'T make THOSE parts!! I am not set up to do them in any kind of "production" sense. I do them at work on the side for my own pleasure. Besides, I would want to make Blake mad and peddle side jobs on the BADWEB. |

Sorry Ironmachine, but you have to be a sponsor. You may want to get with Blake, it's worth it. (Message edited by glitch on October 16, 2004) |

Glitch, was Ironmachine trying to push their product line? Is that the reason for the edit? |

Is that the reason for the edit? Yes. I wouldn't have otherwise. |

Since we are on the wishlist mode... Carbonfibre Primarycover Carbonfibre Timing/Ignition houseing. (not just the little circle, but the whole piece I know this will be EXPENSIVE since the CF will have to be bonded to a metal insert for the inner works of that piece as well as the CF having to be thick) Carbonfibre subframe for an "S" tailsection. The full subframe as one piece. Or the four pieces currently used each in CF. |
