This is a picture of the start of a cannonball type race across Texas. I won the race on a 1997 Buell S1 Lightning, winning $10,000 and another $1000 on a side bet. Burt Reynolds and Dom Delouise were also in the race, but you can't see them in the picture. hahaha -just kidding, Jay Howze won it -hahaha |

Honestly, the guy taking the photo just shouted out;"O.K. everybody, now look to your left!" Why? I guess we'll never know. Even weirder is why everyone did it without question. That is actually a picture of last year's Thrills in the Hills ride in Central Texas. Here is another one since this is a picture thread, and I am in the mood for posting. |

Here's a pic of my newly repainted 1998 S1W. Snap red with a Corbin saddle with carbon fiber accent and red flashing. Please note the excessive use of carbon fiber throughout, yeah, I have a problem.

Pic from killboy.com, last weekend (?) at Barber... Anyone here? You OK? Looks like a decent shot to the head anyway, and I don't see any frame sliders. Looks like a 12s... Ouch!

IMO XB's shouldn't be taken on a track without frame and swingarm sliders...seeing many wrecks and putting together estimates tells me so. That looks really expensive! Any crash you can walk away from is a good one, though...hope that was the case. |

Personally? I don't think they ought to leave the factory without frame sliders (IMHO). Mine are backordered right now, and I won't push the bike much until I get them installed (which seems a crime on a 9sx). |

http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventframe?event=04RK003J01&start=7 00 Sequence of crash photos. He was sitting up at the end, but that bike slid a LONG way, and there is at least one shot of him looking pretty crunched doing a header on asphalt. Hope the guy is OK! There are some shots of him from earlier that day at speed, and he looked great then... good form, nice lean. |

In one of the earlier photos the guy who crashed the xb12 had a hand full of front brake (all 4 fingers on the lever) going into a curve. Bad medicine... Proably stood it up at the apex or high sided. expensive lessons |

Some pics from my buddy in Germany. The first one of his friends rides, an XB9R (leather covering the frame): And this is a cool X1 from the Streetfighter Meeting in Edersee: He rides an sweet custom X1, but I am not sure if the above bike is it's latest incarnation or not. 1313 |

Posting my bike. I will get most posted. They will be in series. The top two pics are of 2001 the others are yesterdays. Notice the rear brake line from reservoir to piston is short, that is another story. I have a custom system for the nylon breadbox and scoop that are the sliders in case you need it. I like to interchange them as goes the pictures. Soon I will be replacing the valve covers with the xb covers to allow more room and more customization for my air induction box. People ask me how that seat feels, is it comfortable. I say it is as comfortable as it can get. I have never felt more comfortable cornering and hanging off. then I say if I wanted another seat I would buy one. I have been On BBS for years and I think it is the best webs site. (period) GOT BUELL BALLS !!!!

I've watched shots of some of the top racers using their brakes...a lot of them use 4 fingers...which I've always found odd. |

Wycked, the ti-force pipe is awesome,my bike made 89rwhp just with the ti-force pipe and race ecu, unfortunately i dont have a scanned dyno sheet but it produces most of its hp in the upper rev range from 4500-redline it pulls like a train. It now makes 96rwhp with ti-force pipe, race ecu and fast intake system.I waiting on a techlusion to help the fuelling lower down in the rev range where its a little lean. The ti-force pipe is the best money I've spent on the bike! |
