I like the NGK DPR9-EIX9. I don't know of any race wires for the XB. The tubers had 'em, maybe that's what he bought. |

yes they are a little tough to reach, i put in a set of 10R12A, because after 9000 miles the originals looked real good. nice thing about these engines is they dont trash spark plugs. |

I ran an Iridium Plug in my Blast and it made a noticeable difference in how the bike ran. Much Better! I am going to put a set into my 03 XB9SL soon, so more to come... Kaveman |

@Rigga: the Brisk plugs are very good for all Buells. On the dyno we got a gain of 2-3HP! The bike starts better and runs smoother. Stefan |

Dave I believe the Parts Unlimited Number for the NGK Laser Iridium KR8AI #5477 plugs is 2103-0009 at least that is the added number on the boxes I got are. They aren't in the catalog but if you call them they should be able to track them down for you. |

You can use the Accel 300+ plug wires from the X1 on the XB series. |

I installed the factory race kit components on my 03 XB9S and took it to the nearest dealer 125 miles away for the TPS reset. When I returned to pick the bike up I was told it needed new plugs because it had Champions. There were only 2300 miles on it. They said it needed the Buell Performance Plugs at 7.95 apiece plus installation to complete the race kit. I probably paid as much for plug installation as the TPS reset. The plugs look to me to be the old Splitfire. |
