I will keep updating as information becomes available. Dyna, due to fact this is a Buell related site, it's going to be hard to keep Buell out it. But I get your and Danas' point. Like I said, matters not to me what you ride or a buddie or 10 that wants to tag along rides. This is for people that want to ride. Again, thanks for all the response. Just hope that it's this well received when the event happens. Man, if you all have any ideas or suggestions, post them, please! |

Just hope that it's this well received when the event happens. It will be if the planning starts now. That's one reason BRAG events are successful, planning far in advance. |

Looks to me like you folks are planning this for later in the summer. You might think I'm nuts, but I spend every Memorial day weekend and Labor Day weekend in that area. Despite the fact that it's a holiday weekend, I've found plenty of times that I could run with little traffic, and I've not had a single issue with the law (knock on wood). The fact that the Deal's Gap campground is a circus on that weekend only adds to the draw for me. Last Memorial Day weekend I had 11 people attend the trip with me, most of them from the BRAG club I am Asst. Director of, as well as the BRAG club from Southeast Harley-Davidson/Buell in the Cleveland area. We welcomed riders of all makes, but we did have mostly Buell riders show up. We had an absolute blast despite the spotty weather, and everyone said the trip was a complete success despite one accident. Even the person who crashed said he had a great time and would do it again! I've decided to make it an annual event. I don't want to compete with anyone else's trip to the dragon, but for those of you who don't want to wait until the middle of summer, remember that there will be Buell riders there on Memorial Day Weekend, and most likely we'll be staying at Fontana due to the nice discounts they offer to their frequent fliers. |

Be a good idea Rocket if you keep this just a BUELL thing not a BRAG Gotta agree with that. Keep Brag out of it. Hell keep Buell out of it & make it a Badweb event. Afterall the only folks who will really know about it will be the ones here Mind if i ask why, just curious?? thanks R |

You can get with your BRAG group and ride down if you'd like. Official BRAG event would take it out of our hands, if it ever came to be. A "BadWeB" event would let us do as we please. |

It was devised here on Badweb & should remain a Badweb event. Give a little recognition & thanks to Blake for putting this site up & dealing with all of us over the years. Maybe even have patches made up? As Glitch pointed out by keeping Brag out of it you can devise the rules to suit your needs. No reason to play the corporate BS game if you dont have to. |

Blake, I don't know if anyone said this yet. "Thanks for letting Grumpy use the Badweb Logo for the ball caps he brought over to Newfoundland Adventure" I am sure Blake would let us use the logo for a patch???? |

I never intended on it being a Official Brag thing. But due to the fact that most users of this site are Buell owners and the Clubs are Brag clubs, that was the best way I could figure to get the ball rolling. If I wanted a BRAG event, which I don't, it would have been handled different. Buell doesn't own the word Brag anyway. It's starting to sound like the sport team problems. It's just a ride for people that want to ride, no matter what they ride. And the phrase rhymes! I'll post as information comes in. Badwebin' at the Dragon 2005. Doesn't work for me! |

Dana, please refrain from abbreviating Rocketsprink's name down to 'Rocket'. Rocket is my name and has been long before I arrived here in 1997\8. Yes I'm touchy on this one. Thanks for understanding. Rocket |

Trademarks yes, but own the word? NO. That's like a Collage in Milwaukee that had to change their Name from the Warriors to the Golden Eagles because the Indians said they owned the word. B.S. That's like Rocketman B..chin' about the name Rocket. Please! ANYWAY, I will post as info comes in and I appreciate any help or ideas from you people. This was my idea, but it's going to take help to get it set up. And don't use Danas' name as it may offend someone else named Dana. LMFAO! |

Guys please, it's just a silly simple request. I've been called Rocket since I was in my teens. It is a bona-fide nick-name. If you wanna call yourself Rocket too, feel free, but do you really want people to think you're the idiot from England? As for Rocketman, that's a product of the BadWeB. I use to be able to use Rocket as part of my sign-in process but the BadWeB 'took' it from me, wouldn't allow me to use it when I registered a 'new' user profile to correct the problem, so Rocketman it became. As Newfie said of the Highlander, there can only be one! Best do's you're told then - and keep your head Rocket |

You forget, the town I grew up in was so behind the times I had things in my younger years that my Dad enjoyed when he was younger. I used to listen to InterSanctum and scare myself silly on Friday nights. If you look at the Runnin' the Ridge pics and see some of the guys having ice cream at Dots Dario, behind there is a field, beside the field, was a drive in theater. One hot summer while three young kids watched in awe and wonder from the limbs of an oak tree in that field, Annie Sprinkle removed any question from our minds what a real grown woman looks like. |
